How is everyone doing this week?
My weekend threw me off quite a bit. Road trip snacking is not the healthiest. I need to pack better things next time.

This weeks quinoa salad lunch consists of chick peas, corn, cucumber, black olives, yellow pepper, tomatoes and purpler onions, and feta cheese. Much more filling than last week.

Do you put a sauce/dressing on it? I'm going to pack lunches for the week when I get home and try to make some scrambles for breakfast. But we have to go get A's truck so I'll be limited on time. My grandma bought me one of the yeti knock off cups, not the walmart brand but some other one. Thing is damn amazing. Keeps ice for days! So I'm finding myself drinking more water since it doesn't get warm and I don't have to walk back to the break room.

peachsmama, this one has red wine vinegar in it. Last weeks had just lime juice so I was adding salsa to it. It was more of a Mexican quinoa with black beans, corn and tomatoes.

My downfall yesterday was a baked potato. I know it doesn't sound bad but I should be filling my tiny stomach with very few carbs and more protein, which I didn't get enough of yesterday. Carbs are so good though.
Today is better. I'm making breakfast for dinner so I'm going to have a western omelette using egg beaters.
I have not been exercising. The weather has been crap and I haven't had the time to go to the gym. I wish Dh and I could split school pick ups or drop offs so I could go before or after work. But with his commute that will never happen.

I've walked both days on my lunch and DH and I went for a walk last night. My shins are killing me though, so I'm headed to running room to get new shoes hopefully

Meh.
Pete has a new habit of buying Jalapeño chips all the time. Those are my kryptonite.
Weight is the same as last week which I'm okay with.
I found a yoga app I like called Asana Rebel. They have a bunch of 5-6 minute exercises I can do a few times a day.

Struggling a bit this week. Sunday there was a BBQ and tons of dessert, yesterday we had friends over so beer and junk and then today I'm not feeling 100% so I skipped my workout to eat cookie dough...
I have at least been doing well during the day.

I just went for an hour walk... even the dog started to slow down before me. 3/3 so far this week!
