Weeks pregnant/Due date: 15 weeks today! Due 4/22 Baby is the size of a: apple! FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM Team: BLUE! Maxwell Brian Appointments: 10/31 and 11/15 (anatomy scan) Symptoms: nausea in the mornings, craving salt, dsygeusia after sweet foods Milestones: announced the sex to our family and friends last week and we went shopping for little boy clothes this weekend. Rants/Raves/Vents: I’ve got a bit of gender disappointment, which makes me feel horrible. We struggled for so long to get pregnant, and I am so so so grateful to be pregnant. But I really had convinced myself he was a girl. I’m still in shock that he’s a boy. I know I’ll get over it and we did want a boy and my husband is over the moon in excitement. But I saw little pink dresses and little girls all over the place this weekend and I felt so wistful. Ugh, I suck. GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? Ha, no. My dogs hate people knocking on the door, so we’re turning the lights off and I gave our bags of candy to the neighbors. We left out a bowl last year with a note saying “take 2 pieces” and after 5 minutes it was gone and the bowl was flipped over.

lemondrop gender disappointment is totally normal. I was so excited when we found out this one is a boy but I randomly have thoughts about how fun it would have been to have another girl, too. I think I'm just scared of the unknown, and know that when he's here none of it will matter 💙 Last year we took E TOTing and left a bowl out on the porch, I wasn't sure if we'd have any TOTers because it was our first year in the neighborhood but when we got bank it was empty, so we had at least one 😂 I figured oh well, at least it went to someone(s) who will enjoy it haha.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 19w4d March 21
Baby is the size of a: Game boy (MH was excited to hear this 😂)
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue 💙
Appointments: Either Thurs or Fri, I need to call to confirm...just a regular OB check up.
Symptoms: I randomly got lightheaded again this weekend at a Halloween event and had to sit down and miss out on most of the fun. I don't know what causes it because I ate lunch and drank lots of water before we left 🤷♀️ I get so tired in the middle of the day but at night I have a hard time settling down and going to sleep, I got very little sleep this weekend. Hungry and full all the time, lol.
Milestones: Feels crazy to be almost half way!
Rants/Raves/Vents: I've been dreaming up ideas for his room but have absolutely zero motivation to get started on any of it. I also have several boxes of clothes I need to go through and wash and put away. Which means I also need to get a dresser for him...
GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? Nah. E is Owelette so MH and I are wearing her cat boy and gecko dress up capes/masks but I'm not doing anything special. I didn't with E either.

lemondrop, agreed, it's normal to have gender disappointment. I had a bit when we found out the sex of my daughter, I thought I would have no idea how to raise a girl and so I had wanted a boy. Anyway, now I can't imagine life without her. And, little boy clothes are just so cute!

I think this is part of it, too - the fear of the unknown. I know I’ll get over it and he’ll be my perfect little buddy, but the thought of buying little penis teepees for when we change him is killing me lol. Plus our having a boy theoretically keeps my H’s family name going for another generation (No male cousins) and I know his family is so thrilled. In re: Halloween, my H thinks we should just put out a bunch of tootsie rolls and Dots and see how many kids take lol

My cousin’s 2 little boys (who we see often) are all about the slimy worms and bugs and slugs and frogs. Momma’s gunna have to toughen up if my kiddo is anything like them lol.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 14+4/April 25
Baby is the size of a: troll doll
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: green
Appointments: 11/19
Symptoms: nausea is mostly gone, I'm still pretty tired
Milestones: can easily find the heartbeat with the doppler, pretty sure I've been feeling the baby move every once in awhile. I told work and the extended family.
Rants/Raves/Vents: not much, just living life. work has been kicking my butt which helps the days go by quickly, but I'm beat by the end of the day.
GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? No, I'm a scrooge when it comes to halloween. I help my kid participate and will hand out candy, but after that, I'm out.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 17+2 / April 6th
Baby is the size of a: turnip
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: Green
Appointments: A/S on 11/19
Symptoms: Very sore nipples
Milestones: The past few days I've thought I felt the baby move a few times!
Rants/Raves/Vents: My shoulders have been killing me after I wake up, I've always been a side sleeper so I'm not sure what's different now, I think I'll get a pregnancy pillow and see if that helps any
GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? My MIL got me one of those skeleton shirts with baby so I'll probably put that on to hand out candy

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 18 weeks April 1 Due date.
Baby is the size of a: Bell pepper
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Probably finding out.
Appointments: 11/12 anatomy scan 11/16 check up
Symptoms: Exhausted easily. And I had headaches in the evening all last week. I wore my glasses all day yesterday and I didnt have a headache. Maybe my eyesight is changing slightly. My glasses are a really minor prescription so I usually only wear them while driving in darkness or rain so I can see further more clearly.
Milestones: nothing new.
Rants/Raves/Vents: My daycare had me come pick up my son on Friday because he had a hot, red growing rash around where he got the Flu shot on thursday. It was annoying to me for several reasons. I am trying to save my leave for next spring's maternity leave, he is not going to infect any children with this reaction to his flu shot and my pediatrician said there was nothing to be done except ice and maybe some ibuprofen for pain. On the brightside I got errands done with my kids. I went and voted, got groceries, and took my kids to the park.
GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? No it is supposed to be raining for trick or treat so I will be wearing a jacket and we don't have any Halloween parties to attend, so I havent thought much about costumes for me.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 22 on Wednesday, due March 6
Baby is the size of a: nalgene water bottle
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Blue
Appointments: just had one today! My BP is creeping up so he’s starting me on baby aspirin, even though he says it would have been better to start earlier but oh well. I think I read that it’s not proven to be very effective anyways but can’t hurt might help, so I’ll take it. He’s sending me for a growth scan at 28 weeks which will be just before Christmas holidays, so I’m glad for that.
Symptoms: short of breath, pregsomnia etc
Milestones: someone else has felt an outside kick... the ultrasound tech lol. MH always has cold hands and the babies run away from him.
Rants/Raves/Vents: just sick as a dog and wish I could sleep for a whole night!
GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? I don’t think so, sheer laziness and lack of creativity. I get a real kick from other people’s clever costumes though!

lemondropFor what it's worth, the ability to dress a hypothetical girl up in girly stuff could have been really short lived anyway. I have a girl and before she was 2 she was in no way willing to wear anything girly. It's all monster trucks and thomas the tank and leggings at best. So...the fantasy may be better than the reality any way. ❤

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 18+1, EDD of 3/31 Baby is the size of a: Bell pepper or artichoke FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM, third pregnancy Team: Finding out! H didn’t get home in time last Friday, so I am moving the US to this Friday (or earlier if it works out with our schedules) Appointments: 11/21 with the anatomy scan Symptoms: Tired, sore nipples, still getting cold some, laying flat is getting uncomfortable Milestones: 18 weeks Rants/Raves/Vents: My parents are being jerks, and I’m so over their crap. GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? Work decided we’re being nerds (not the candy). I don’t want to go out and buy anything. Any ideas on what I should wear? lemondrop I was so stressed about having girls and felt like I’d be a natural with boys, of course the girls are my world now and I understand now that they came to me to teach me things I needed to learn, but that doesn’t mean my heart didn’t still wish for the experience of a son. It was just something I’d always pictured and it was a nice dream. Take your time and feel whatever you’re feeling, because you know when that baby is in your arms love will rush in to fill any places you felt gaps before. It doesn’t make you any less thankful for what you have to take a moment to reflect on what you might have wished would be.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 15+3 / April 19
Baby is the size of a: avocado
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM, 3yr old DD
Team: Pink 💕
Appointments: 11/14 for OB checkup. Can’t believe I have to wait so long for my ultrasound. Not until mid-December 😩
Symptoms: tried not taking my unisom and completely lost my appetite. By the end of the day I was dry heaving from brushing my teeth so I gave in and am taking it again. I’ve been feeling great while taking it- hungry, plenty of energy (probably since I can finally eat)
Milestones: feeling alive for a week? I think I’ve felt some fish-like movement.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Just tired of having to take unisom. And still in that weird in between stage where regular clothes are too snug and maternity shirts are overkill.
GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? No, I’m not creative or motivated enough to ever dress up.

I’ll most likely have another opportunity for a girl. And even if I don’t get one, being a mom is something I’ve dreamed of and wished for and the little boy inside me is giving me that.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 19 tomorrow! Due March 27
Baby is the size of a: Grapefruit
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM, we have a 6yr old DD
Team: Finding out on the 9th with the AS!
Appointments: OB apt on Nov16
Symptoms: Feeling lots of movement and H has felt some outside kicks! Been getting super tired lately and been having muscle like pain along my pelvic bone which gets worse as I'm on my feet more.
Milestones: Just getting to this point!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Can't wait for the AS to find out what we're having, and as it gets closer I'm also getting more nervous that it will show something wrong with the baby. I felt this way about the AS with DD too.
GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? I don't generally dress up for Halloween, we go Trick or Treating tomorrow night and it's usually super cold and has been raining the past few years so we wear jackets. And we didn't go to any parties this year.
Share any U/S or bump pics if you'd like: None yet!

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 20 wks 3/ march 16th
Baby is the size of a: axolotl..weird but some are kind of cute creatures
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: ttm
Team: just found out it is a girl!
Appointments: We just had our scan and little girl was very co-operative and it was super quick! She is 13 oz. I didn't realize the imaging place has a different due date(3 days later) from my 14 wk scan but it was not changed with my midwife so I am just sticking to my lmp date. During the ultrasound the baby's measurements all seemed 20 to 21 weeks so she seems to be growing well!
Symptoms: short of breath, tired. Craving chicken wings
Milestones: halfway!
Rants/Raves/Vents: My dds are so excited! My eldest thought it was 100% a brother but was still very excited for another sister. We just called to tell everyone!
GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? We have a little red riding hood theme and I had plans to be the wolf dressed as grandma and the belly is perfect for the wolf eating grandma but I didnt make the ears or snout or anything. So just grandma is it!

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 19w2d
Baby is the size of a: I've seen heirloom tomato and mango... these seem so different!
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM/TTM (twins)
Team: Double blue 💙💙
Appointments: Anatomy scan next tues and reg appt the 13th! I also have been trying to schedule my fetal echocardiogram (dr recommended for twins), but I cannot get through! I've tried everyday for the last few days, leave a message/talk to someone who promises they'll call back, they need an order from my OB to schedule, etc. Why does all this take so much time to schedule/figure out.
Symptoms: Definitely feeling a lot of flutters. Feeling full fast. Feel like I'm just getting big quickly!
Milestones: Flutters, anatomy scan next week
Rants/Raves/Vents: See above regarding doctor appt scheduling! They finally called back as I was posting, and I'm all set for an appt during my 20th week.
GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? Yes, I have a tee shirt with a skeleton and 2 baby skeletons. Will try to get a bump pic tmmw during halloween!

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 19+5
Baby is the size of a: zucchini
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: stm
Team: find out next week
Appointments: ob appoint next wed and anatomy scan Thursday as long as I don't get called into jury duty
Symptoms: feeling pretty good except some insomnia after getting up to pee
Milestones: feeling tons of movement and a few from the pita side. My sister got to feel this weekend

GTKY: Are you dressing up the bump for Halloween? Yes. DD wanted to be a purple butterfly so we are doing a Hungry caterpillar theme. I'm the caterpillar and I am sewing fake food from a felt board set to a shirt for DH.
