We had a fun and exhausting day. We went to a Halloween party breakfast at Gs school. It was super cute. Here she is trick or treating. She had a ball. Little man

Glad you are starting to feel better marygracerich! Ugh, your poor DD- that is a long time to be on the bus each day. That whole situation sounds so frustrating, I'm sorry! Ah- hope these next 48 hours fly by for you jessijean! I have to figure out DS's flu shot this week too cake. He was supposed to get it at his 9 month appt. but that isn't until early December, and we have a family trip to Florida in a few weeks and I feel nervous about him in an airport without having it. I think I need to get that moved up! I would def try to move that up. It takes a couple months for your body to fully build up the antibodies from the flu shot anyway so the sooner the better! Plus at this age for their first shot (at least at my dr office) they get it in 2 smaller doses spread a month apart. ETA now that I’m caught up I see this has been covered 🙃 carry on!

Per my counselor's orders I'm supposed to work from a coffee shop Thursday mornings. Well I did NOT want to come this morning but forced myself. Upon arrival, the girl informed me they had caramel rolls this morning. So I just finished a huge caramel roll and am now enjoying a latte by the fireplace. I need to remember this feeling those mornings I don't want to come.

pinkcat we have to reschedule our 9 month visit because we miss the window for the booster by 2 days. DS1 developed broncholitis and pneumonia after his booster the 1st year but there is no telling what caused it. We still get him the shot every year though and have had no issues since. What is the window for the booster? I can’t find it online. DD got her first shot at a flu clinic October 23, and her 9 month is November 27, so it’s five weeks. Is that too long?

That'd be just right. Our pediatrician told us 1 month.

Here are our Halloween pictures!! I'm home with O today who is sick. Bonus that I get a 4 day weekend when I need it? I'm burning out of life. Today I at least washed our bed sheets. I'm embarrassed to say how long it's been. 🙈

Good morning! G got on the bus today with no problem. I put her to bed before the baby last night in the hopes that the extra sleep will help prevent her bus meltdowns. I had some breakfast. In a little while I will make the baby his breakfast. I was going to take him grocery shopping but I am exhausted from being busy all day yesterday and not sleeping great so I may wait and go by myself tomorrow morning.

I want to take down the swing. I'm tempted to sell it while I'm at it but I'm nervous about getting rid of something that's so high value. We're 99% sure we're done. I've already sold the sit me up and I'm listing the RnP and the baby tub. We just don't use the swing more than maybe once every 2 weeks. More often than not it just holds shit

I gave away the swing a while back. He started getting pissed every time I put him in it and it took up so much space so it is gone.

I am getting ready to sell my exersaucer. We haven’t used it in like two weeks. The jumper we still use. His tub seat is getting tossed. Little man has a blonde patch of hair by his temple.

We took the swing down a while ago but we were holding onto it to see if he freaked without it. It’s now on my list to sell. I’m working on the air me up too.

Fun!
We moved the swing out of the main family room bc our big issue is space. We just want space. So we'll see if we use it again in the next month and if we don't, I'll take it apart and list it.
We also lofted DD1s bed today. I want her to get a vanity for Christmas so we were able to stick her book shelf under her bed and make some space for that (when I find one). I'll get twinkle lights for her new reading space and a floating shelf for a night light up top.

Let me see if I can post a pic of our pirate family with the baby parrot! ETA: ok cool, it worked. We got the family photo when we were TOT-ing and a neighbor came running out. It was a lovely night. In other updates: V is into EVERYTHING. She took a real step tonight. Just one, but definitely a step. She climbs up on DS's trampoline but luckily can get herself down safely. We have a step down from our kitchen to the den (AKA toy room) so she learned how to navigate that early on. So she is following in DS's footsteps of being a very mobile baby!

Posting and running, but I hate daylight savings. That is all. Both boys were up before 6. I wasn’t really surprised with the baby but the 6 year old was not expected and you can tell he needs more sleep. I’m sending him for a nap soon.

The baby was up at 6 today. Not too bad seeing as he’s normally up by 6:30. I however was up at 4:30... After a lot of crying and struggling, I finally got him to go down for a very late day nap. I’m hoping he’ll sleep for awhile which means he should go to bed later tonight.
