grumpycat that doesn’t sound good. IF your ds is having behavioral problems then the teacher should be communicating with you more than the others, not less. I think it’s a good first step to try to get him into a different class. It breaks my heart that he doesn’t want to go to school because of the main teacher, it shouldn’t be that way at all. Right?? I spent at least 5 minutes in the class talking to ds1 about what happened and getting his sweatshirt on. There was plenty of opportunity. I know his main teacher is overextended and I feel like ds1 bears the brunt of that sometimes. I think he's also bored academically. 🤦 I let it float with dh that maybe doing a preschool program in the mornings (at a different school) and then ds1 doing activities with me and/or my mom in the afternoons may be a better option. We will see how the assistant director responds to dh (he's had lots of conversations with her already -- many of them positive about ds1 actually). quinn thank you. I just got such a bad feeling. He's no angel and I am well aware of that, but he's only 3.5. He is still so young. And one of four boys in a class of mostly girls.

grumpycat, I’d move him for sure. Trust your feelings on it.

roloma good to know!! I’m sure I will ease up a bit as time goes on. I didn’t even think of chipotle- that would be delicious and nice because you can watch them change their gloves and everything!!

Drop off went better this morning. And one of the teachers overheard my conversation with ds1 about listening/respecting other kids & teachers/using his words/manners. So we shall see how today goes, but dh will talk to the assistant director tomorrow about classroom change.

I get N the kids "build your own" at Chipotle and just skip the salsa section altogether so there is no worry of any cross contamination. He loves the meat, rice, and beans. And you can get fruit with it.
