I can't believe it's the Friday before Halloween already. And that I went to the grocery store yesterday and forgot to buy Halloween candy.

Morning! Finally wrapped that baby basket, a bunch of presents for ds, prepared some of the decorations for Sunday. Grocery shopping and errands in a little bit.

Morning, I was up until midnight making cookies and mud cups for our party. I probably could have done some this morning, but I was on a roll and did not want to have to do much today. I have a tendency to burn myself out cooking and cleaning before a party, and then I'm wiped out when the guests arrive.
Bea gave me a break and STTN though, so I'm feeling about as rested as I normally would. H had to go into the office today, so I am solo and have all day to set up. But first, coffee.

Morning! Off to preschool for B in a bit; I need to figure out something for trunk-or-treat at the kids' school next week (since I volunteered my car, lol) and hit up Michael's or a party shop or something. There's a mom in B's class who I'm getting to be friends with through MOPS and she offered to help; she seems very organized. I generally fly by the seat of my pants with stuff like this, LOL, but am trying to get my act together. mwhip I need to get Halloween candy, too. I'm trying to remember how many kids we had last year so I can buy accordingly. I feel like it wasn't much, maybe 20-30. |

Morning. I accidentally fell asleep in bed with S last night and my back feels better than it has in weeks. I think our bed is too firm so I need to look into getting a topper. H has a fall party at school today and I volunteered to help.

Hi! It’s been a crazy busy week here so I haven’t been on a whole lot during the day and try to catch up at night. We head north for a big football weekend after I get off today. Hope everyone has a good Friday!

Another rough morning. J lost it bc he ate all his waffles but I let N have a gluten free one. He told me he wished I didn't live in his house. Needless to say he was super sad by the time we left when I asked him who would make his lunch, drive him, etc if I didn't live here. I feel kind of bad but was a good discussion that words can hurt.
We did see a 10 week old bernadoodle puppy in our building though. It is maybe the cutest thing I've seen IRL.

Wow flamingo ! I have never been to a trunk or treat and didn't realize it was a scene! That's super cute I've never been to one either! Since this is just the preschool, I'm thinking it won't be quite as elaborate as other events. My friend said there is usually a range, from very basic to more complex. If you go by a lot of what's on Pinterest, people are taking out second mortgages to do some of these displays, haha. |

tallb I had to google bernedoodle -- so it's a Bernese Mountain Dog/poodle mix?! Super cute, for sure. Some of these designer dogs are getting a bit crazy, but I do love that a lot of them don't shed. Never again will I have a shedder.

We went to our first trunk or treat last night. Some people got really involved in it. We did a haunted scene/nightmare before Xmas theme sort of. I only took 1 picture and you can’t really see the trunk. I think I’ll redo it tomorrow and take a pic so I can do it again next year.

tallb, my sister is going to be getting a Mini Bernadoodle for her kids for Christmas. I can’t get over the cuteness of the pics she’s showed me! And she asked if we’d keep the puppy from whenever they get it until Christmas Eve. Yay puppy snuggles! Dh thinks I’m crazy so I’ll probably be on my own when it wants to be up all night.

Rough morning. Wednesday and Thursday I woke up at 300 to be at work by 500. Then we did the trunk or treat until 830 and I didn’t get to be until 1000. Back to normal schedule today. I’m hoping to get off on time and get LO to bed early. I need sleep.

I didn't fall asleep until a little after minute, then Cadence joined me at 3:30 saying she was done sleeping and could I put a movie on. Uh...no. She finally fell asleep after awhile, but I'm only half awake today.
I had the runner move some boxes this morning, so at least it looks like I've accomplished something.

Jack wants to do something "super fun" But I don't really want him around other kids because of his virus. I think I'll take them to the movies. There's a movie call ed"Smallfoot" about a yeti that's animated and they love the bumble so hopefully that will qualify as "super fun"

Morning! Wfh today and then we’ll probably take the kids to a Halloween event at the children’s museum tonight.
N was asking all sorts of questions on the way to daycare and it was the first time she’s ever really noticed divorce. She asked if her cousins mom (my brother’s Ex) was her aunt, and I had to explain that her cousin lives with her mom and sees her dad on weekends. And being the worrier she is, she became worried that would happen to her. I guess I didn’t realize we’ve never really talked about it before so I’m sure she’ll be full of questions all weekend.
