I'm currently snacking on a leftover chicken strip that I didn't eat for lunch yesterday. I originally brought in oatmeal, but remembered my uneaten lunch in the fridge and it sounded more appetizing.
Today is my Friday. We're taking the rest of the week off to take G to Disneyland for her birthday. We fly down to Anaheim tomorrow morning and then back home Friday to start preparing food for her party Saturday. I probably shouldn't have planned Disneyland and a party in the same week, but I really wanted to be at Disneyland for her birthday and I figured next weekend more people will be away on vacation for the 4th. I'm so happy to have such a short work week though!

I'm ravenous today and I've eaten all the things. Work is crazy busy and I don't anticipate it slowing down. And my punk toddler still won't stay in her own bed.

Work has been crazy and HK is going through a separation anxiety phase so not much time here. Sitting here thinking about how I don't want to cook dinner.

Glad to hear things went well, typo31! Hugs, ldubhawksfan Hope tonight is better. Just got back from the physical therapist - I have a history of pelvic floor issues so I thought it would be a good idea to check in with her now even though it's still early. She said I'm doing very well physically-speaking, we set up a plan for the rest of the pregnancy including at-home exercises, and she is willing to help me find a doula once I talk to my OB about it (she recommended asking her first because they might have regular ones who are used to the hospital and their policies). It's also a long walk from my office so I got some extra steps in today, AND there were bonus free cookies in the breakroom when I got back. Counting today as a win, lol.

cakewench so, um how does a physical therapist help with pelvic floor issues? Asking for a friend.

cakewench so, um how does a physical therapist help with pelvic floor issues? Asking for a friend. It's a specialized practice that focuses on pelvic floor issues. Before I was pregnant it involved very targeted pressure applications around my pelvis, plus internal work, to loosen up the constriction I was dealing with. There were also home exercises they had me do. Now that I'm pregnant it mostly focuses on keeping my back and pelvis aligned properly and making sure my hips and pelvis are open, no targeted pressure on the pelvis of course (because baby). I am happy to go more in depth over PM if you want. I felt like I was the only one with these issues and getting a referral to them was literally life changing.
