Ha this is D too@l! Drives me nuts and makes me want to eat her up cause it's the cutest as well 😊 she can be so cheeky!! Welcome to my life 🤗 he laughs at my sternest voice so I’m just like 🤷🏻♀️ 🤦🏻♀️😭 My daughter did this. MH started telling her it made him sad and then she would stop. No she does it a lot less and even started telling J not to because it makes us sad. So teaching empathy or just screwed them up for life...

For anyone with older kids in preschool, are a bunch of the parents making handcrafted Halloween goodie bags for the kids? This is happening in ds1 class, and it's stressing me out. It's all voluntary so I wasn't going to, but I don't want him to be the only kid whose mom didn't bring something in.
Toddler H has leap 9 rage!! If I stop him from doing anything fun like smashing the laptop, he sits back on his heels and screeches to wake the dead. He was such a sweet mild tempered baby.

When did every holiday turn into a Pinterest pissing contest?! We have leap 9 issues here as well! I’m hoping she hasn’t turned into a demon and this is temporary 🤣

Leap 9 is a doozy, but he’s relatively back to his sweet self. Definitely has those moments of terror, but I hope they aren’t as frequent as they were during the leap.

T’s teacher sent a note home that we can bring in a store bought baked good, candy, chips or juice for their party. That’s stressful since there is no sign up sheet. Even at the Y last year they did parties for the holidays and you could bring extra things for the party. Like, for Easter, I got Pez dispensers for the kids. But, for valentines we just did cards and just brought what we signed up for at Christmas, Even for birthdays last year only one kid brought goodie bags - I would have done it, but up to that point no other parent did it. The last thing kids need is more candy around Halloween.

Yeah we do get stuff like this too but it’s a sign up sheet like you mentioned, not just some random mom doing the most like she was saying lol. I’m not a complete Scrooge but like you said, more candy! Ugh

He hates not getting the ipad

I'm the lame teacher that gave out goodie bags with a pencil, eraser, Halloween stickers and...wait for it...a toothbrush lol.

king26, but you're the teacher, so I think that's normal. And I would love if my kids got NOT candy. Thanks, you guys made me feel like less of a slacker.
