N is losing interest in nursing. 😔 But has no interest in WCM either. No bottles. No sippy. No straw. It’s like he doesn’t know how to swallow that. He just sucks it out and then drools it all out. Milk. Water. I’ve even tried juice just to see. 🤷🏼♀️ Kid can suck back a pouch no problem though. I don’t know. I’ll keep nursing and seeing. But he can go all day without and just eats solids. I don’t know.

This is a timely discussion because I just came here to ask how much BM your BF babies were still taking. I’m only pumping 7 oz max at work now, and he’s still taking 3-5 oz bottles. His solids intake is so high most nights (lol to more than the toddler because I feel like that is accurate here too). DH said yesterday he ducked down the 5 oz and still seemed hungry when I was at urgent care with DD, so I’m reluctant to try to taper him down to smaller bottles, but introducing WCM some does make sense. I feel like we did that shortly before a year with DD. DS is 10.5 mo. B is still taking 3-4oz of BM every 3 hours at daycare. On weekends he nurses more like every 3.5-4 hrs. I’m only pumping 9-10 oz a day so I’m still pumping at night to cover his daily bottles. I need to quit doing that and start using my freezer stash, but I’m afraid my supply will tank. I think daycare will start giving WCM about 2 weeks before toddler room. He takes his sippy with water with meals with us.

B is still drinking three 4 oz bottles of BM at daycare, around 9 12 and 3. He nurses before bed and usually at least once overnight. I haven’t started giving him WCM yet but he drinks water from the sippy like a champ so I’m hoping to go cold turkey with no bottles next month and hope for the best.

I hope baby waffle is doing better today Waffle . Thank you sarahandben108, she was doing much better yesterday: ate most of her food, played, smiled, etc. Different story today though: she woke up coughing at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep after that though you could see she was desperate for it. I had to go to work and H has apparently had a nightmare with her all day: threw up, didn't want lunch, only had half her fruit, poop explosion, coughing, whiny, etc. Our pediatrician is away but she told me to give her some syrup tonight so I hope this will help.

N nurses at wake up, I would guess 5ish oz maybe, takes a 5oz bottle at Noon, nurses sometimes after dinner around 6:30, and then once again before bed. He has water with his snacks. He’s probably getting 15ish ounces a day maybe. We dropped a bottle last week and one the previous week. He is almost 11.5 months. He eats a TON of regular table food.
