Morning!!
Daycare has “free” coffee on Monday mornings which is always a nice perk to a Monday.
And... my H had a successful hunt so instead of flying back late Thursday night he’s renting a car and driving home- he should be back by Tuesday night!!! 🙌🏻

jules1614, Free coffee and your H coming home early?? Sounds like a good Monday to me! lol. N slept in until 6 yesterday and 5:30 today and it's like he's a completely different child. Thank god. Even E graced us with his only wake up at 4:00. I'll take it!

Ds2's year appointment got rescheduled because his pediatrician is out sick so we have another week to go and my day just opened up lol. Maybe ds2 will decide to start walking by then. 🙄 He did speedily crawl up the stairs last night so I know we are close. IIRC ds1 crawled up the stairs shortly before he started to independently take steps.
Dh has his vasectomy tomorrow! My mom is going to pick up ds1 and he's going to stay with her for at least a day. 🙌
I think I'm going to introduce cow's milk to ds2 today. I've been giving him water with meals. He only had one wake up last night. I'm hoping that's the start of sleeping better.

We ended up getting out and checking out another state park yesterday. It was about an hour and a half away but we had a good time checking it out. The weather was just perfect. I'm really not happy to be back at work today, I'm pretty tired.

It’s Monday all right.
DD is in preschool. DS1 is in school. And N is napping. I’m supposed to be cleaning. But I’m not. Lol.
I’m volunteering in DS1’s class this afternoon. We will see how this goes. lol. He’s a totally different kid when I’m there.
Then we have hockey at 4:45-5:30. Then my BIL is taking DS1 out for ice cream for his birthday. And then I guess I should make supper tonight at some point.

I really don't want to Monday. Things have been so busy, I need a solid 4 day weekend to relax. Although, we are going to have a 4 day weekend next month but it will be away from home and busy. So. Lol. First world problems...
My mom comes on Friday, though, and will be watching the kids all next week, so no day care drop offs/pickups! 🙌🙌🙌

He drinks 3 bottles of formula before his meals and water during mealtimes and snacks. Which bottle should I cut out 1st? Lunch? And I'm so jealous YH is getting snipped (weird thing to be envious of). This mirena gives me the worst cramps

Just immediately switched to wcm with meals no more bottles/formula. He was great with a sippy cup already and fought bottles. He also ate everything we put in front of him. So you may be able to just cut all bottles out pending pediatrician approval! Birth control made me miserable (and killed my sex drive). I also should avoid hormonal birth control based on my migraine history/family history of strokes as per a couple docs. Dh agreed to do it pretty easily. We are done having kids and he wants to get laid lmao.

My H has a hugely important job afternoon. He has some very stiff competition in the final 3 group he is in but I know he can rock it. This job would be so great for us. I am over here feeling like I am going to barf and crossing everything I have.
N cut his third tooth last week. It was an upper lateral incisor and it appears the one on the other side is very very close. I guess he'll be a vampire baby for a while. Hopefully those central incisors come in soon. I am hoping once this other tooth comes through he will go back to sleeping through the night again. He typically only has 1 wake up but that's starting to get to me. The ear infections should be clearing up with any luck so that should help.
I am not in the mood for Monday. It is gorgeous outside and I am feeling antsy and trapped at work. Ugh.

quinn, We pretty much went cold turkey as well and just gave WCM for N. I nursed him once a day before bed and that was it. The rest of his meals was real food and we did milk or water with it. We will probably do the same with E as long as there aren't any issues. He took formula no problem from breastmilk so I don't foresee him having any problem drinking WCM. Currently, we are working on increasing his solids. We've been doing lunch, added breakfast a couple of weeks ago, and next month we will start with dinner. His digestive system is much more sensitive than N's when it comes to gas so we've been working slow with him.

We just started DD2 on WCM and did it cold turkey. I just gave her a sippy (!!!) with milk after she ate some solid food. She loved it, and figured out the sippy really quickly. It makes me a little sad that she will be done with bottles soon, though.

More than the toddler lol so I don't think that should be much of an issue ETA ds3 was slow moving too because of his allergy and I dont remember what I did with the older boys

That's his favorite bottle.

Ahhh my cousin sent me a giant box of clothes for ds2! In all the right sizes. Ds1 was a peanut so a lot of his stuff is off season. 🤷 I was hoping ds2 would slow down by now. But here I am breaking out 24 month and he's wearing 2t pants/shirt today. The pants are a little long but the waist is perfect. 😲

This is a timely discussion because I just came here to ask how much BM your BF babies were still taking. I’m only pumping 7 oz max at work now, and he’s still taking 3-5 oz bottles. His solids intake is so high most nights (lol to more than the toddler because I feel like that is accurate here too). DH said yesterday he ducked down the 5 oz and still seemed hungry when I was at urgent care with DD, so I’m reluctant to try to taper him down to smaller bottles, but introducing WCM some does make sense. I feel like we did that shortly before a year with DD. DS is 10.5 mo.

DD has been having cow milk in a sippy after her two naps for the past few days. The first one for the past two weeks. She loves it and doesn't miss nursing. So I just bf morning, before bed and in the night if needed.
However, she has a cold again and has been an absolute terror every time we go to put her down. Last night she was up for a total of probably 3 hours 😣. This morning her nap was great, she crawled over to me, said nainai, her new word! And went down without a fuss. This afternoon I had to resort to her crying it out. I hate doing that, but nothing really works.

@idubhawksfan we’re at 3- 4oz bottles for 10ish hours of daycare. He typically gets a bottle every 3 hours. At home he nurses like every 2-3
