Good morning! Not quite as good of a night last night as the night before, but it was ok. My main goals today are to give DD a bath and take her one month photos. She was one month yesterday! π€―

tbirdlove - Individual days and nights can feel long but I can't believe how quickly our babies are starting to hit 1 month+! DS2 is 6 weeks Wednesday and I have no idea how the time went by so quickly!

Good morning! After a few really rough nights we had a reset last night and everyone got some rest. And just like that itβs the week before Halloween.

Good morning! DS spent the night in his crib and only woke up at 2:30 and 5:55. He also weighs about 10 lbs today. I knew he felt heavier.
It's also my 8 year wedding anniversary.

Today is the Hβs first day back to work. So I have to get both girls up and ready so M can go to school. We survived the whole night in the crib with only 3 wakes (10,2,5) 5 seems like it should count as up for the day. Iβm hoping to get her back down so I can grab a shower.
Itβs also my due date! P is a little over 3 weeks. Iβm going to take βhappy due dateβ pictures before I take our one month pictures on Saturday.

My plans are a little jacked up for the day because DD was up for several hours MON with a runny nose. She freaks out about it. So now she has a cold and I'm sure I'm next but I need to have a baby. Lovely timing. It's also 41 degrees this morning in ATL which is crazy because it was like 90 a week ago.... All I know for sure is that I will be attempting early voting today and maybe walking outside somewhere so to not spread germs.

Itβs been crazy for us the last week, we had a short stay at Boston Childrenβs Hospital for viral meningitis. The little guy hasnβt gained any weight in 2 weeks he has actually lost 3 oz. The weight loss is most likely due to an increase in his meds for his heart.
We have to decide if we want to switch his care over to Childrenβs but I really like his cardiologist. She texted me the whole time we were in the hospital and really made me feel like she was there for us. If we go ahead with surgery it will be at Childrenβs anyway so I donβt think I want to lose the personal touch we get with the current cardiologist- but Boston is the best.

meggriffin I hope your ds starts to feel better soon! How stressful and scary it must be. That's great his cardiologist is being so helpful and supportive though!

Happy Anniversary ftwr!! How scary meggriffin! Your LO is the third baby I've known to have meningitis in the past 2 months. Their LOs are doing well after it so I hope yours is too. Sorry to hear about the weight. Thinking of you as you try to decide what to do about the doctor options.

He is doing much better, the focus now is to getting him back on track with weight gain. Heβs still in the 25th percentile so he hasnβt lost enough to give him formula- just enough to keep an eye on it.
He sees his cardiologist Thursday and they will let us know if his heart is healing at all.

Mine is loosing it on top! Same as her brother did! And same time too - right around 4 weeks. ETA his acne was so much worse though.

Where does your baby nap? I'm writing this as I'm sitting on the couch holding DD hoping she stays sleep. I mostly wear her for naps or I have to hold her. Any time I put her down she sleeps maybe about 5 minutes. I'm hoping in the next few weeks to try her in different spots to see if anything works but I'd rather have a well rested baby that sleeps in the carrier than a tired, cranky baby. I'm just hoping I'm not setting up bad habits π

Sometimes I get lucky and can leave him in the middle of my bed or on the couch, but it isnβt often that he is settled that well. Right now we are just in survival mode.

Sleep is more important than location of sleep right now IMO. I did the same with DS1 and while he wasn't a great napper in general I was able to transition him to crib naps without too much trouble.

Add DS to the unfortunate baby acne club. I feel like I need to do something to it but there's nothing to be done. I am also fighting my urge to pick.
