Oh j LOVES the Lumineers. Ophelia specifically. He knows the name of more songs than me. They are opening for U2 tonight..if tickets weren't $250 each, we would consider taking him. We also are enjoying the Moana soundtrack on YouTube. I may buy the CD for the car since it is pretty catchy. We listen to the Moana soundtrack on 85% of our car rides.

As soon as i start singing M says, "Nooooo. I want to do it." S does this. "Only I sing, mommy, you don't sing!" H tells me "That's my favorite song! Don't sing my favorite song!" About all songs ever.

Anyone who's in to detectives and not opposed subtitles, watch the bridge on Netflix, the Swedish one. Think the killing. It's is tense and really good. I almost started watching that after finishing the Killing. I'll have to check it out.

calimocho, happy birthday! Yay progress peachsmama ! I also am a terrible singer according to V: "No! I don't want mommy to sing!" We don't ever listen to music at home or in the car. Our home and car are silent besides conversation. I'll listen to the radio sometimes if I'm in the car alone. At home, we only listen to music if V is watching Mother Goose Club Playhouse.

calimocho happy Birthday! DD was just asked to skip a level at gymnastics. She will jump from 4 hours a week to 9 if we do it. She's turning 7 this week. We have a lot to think about.

guster sorry I ended up napping with C. Then when he woke up, we supermarket swept the only deli I like in NY. I got a hobo, which is a turkey and cheese wedge with coleslaw and Russian dressing. I also got red potato salad. I ate way too much and now I'm in a food coma. Also, my FIL has really bad psoriasis. He has done everything, down to converting his pool to salt water. The only thing that works is a new medication he's on. But it's insanely expensive. Like, unimaginable. It's working for him but if he didn't have the $$$ to pay for it, I don't know what he would do. Its a whole discussion about pharmaceuticals for another day.

C has gotten into music lately. But he likes my music. Migos, Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars are some of his favorites right now. He likes kid music too. But he learns that at school. When he's with me, we listen to hip hop or pop.

That sounds delicious. Mine is noticeable only to me so I doubt I would go the expensive medication route, but I wish it were a pill I was offered instead of lotion.

Good luck with the interview, snoopmommymom! Happy birthday, calimocho! Good news, lfig! S and I sing to my music in the car. I'm trying not to clue her in that recordings of children's music exist. *fingers crossed* I came down with mastitis yesterday for the first time. So not cool. Somebody could have mentioned it would throw my digestive system for a loop! I also used the wrong contact solution to rinse my contact because I'm an idiot. I look like someone punched me in the eye. I'd like a do-over for the past 24 hours. Other than that, just keeping busy. We need to clean out and organize the garage this week so we can tackle a couple wood projects. We're going to build a dining table and a couple desks. I'm excited to get started, but the garage is in no condition to do woodworking at the moment. Here's the table. Undecided on desk plans. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

Haven't heard from mh. They were supposed to make a decision today and he said if they couldn't agree they would have to spend the night.

Happy birthday calimocholfig I'm so glad she got summer services! cagoldi I meant to post yesterday, but I hope A in ok today. And you. But, as a mom of all boys, let me welcome you to The club. The ways they get hurt sometimes is ridiculous. I remember the first time it happened to Landon and we (I) panicked and rushed to the emergency room and cried and it was awful. Now we're to the point that we call our firefighter friend if it looks like someone needs stitches! 😳

So, I have house news! In told you guys that "our" house that we had loved and lost came Back on the market after their offer del through and we had put a contingency offer in and we're accepted. Well, unfortunately our house wasn't selling as quickly as we ha shooed, despite a ridiculous amount of traffic, and we were going to lose the house. A few houses very similar went up for sale around it and we're selling for about 100K more than what we would be paying for their house and we realized we just couldn't lose it, it was such an amazing deal and so perfect. So... we dropped the contingency and bought it! We close on Thursday! A little crazy because we now own two houses, but we're confident in ours selling and worst case scenario we can rent it for a year or two!

When I was on a jury, first thing we did was take a vote to see where we were at. We all immediately voted to convict so we got to leave right away. Had to be the shortest deliberation ever.

cagoldi - Your comments about PPD made me think. I am still insane about Colin, it's like it never stopped. Chase though, I have such a different response to. Like his tubes, I was pretty calm before and even after, when he woke up like a beast. I almost feel bad, though maybe my relaxed attitude will actually benefit him. xolastunicornxo congratulations! snoopmommymom sorry the interview didn't work out. DD told her coach she does not want to skip a level. Most of the girls in that group are 10 or older and she's just turning 7 this week. DH was against it so that worked out. Practice was 6-9, 3 nights a week and she's usually in bed by 8. They also have an out of state meet at a water park when the new kid is going to be 2 weeks old so that worked out.

As the resident #oldlady of the board, I'm sure it won't surprise you that I do. I've had it since I was a teenager. I have two spots on my knees-- so unsightly. Anyway, my derm had me on two different lotions that help greatly, but the second I stop using them even for a day the spots get ashy again. I have an appt in mid July, but was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas (aside from using the lotion constantly) Yes, mine started on my knees and elbows and really started getting bad in my early 20s (limbs and trunk). Unfortunately I will probably always be on medication to keep it at bay. I use Taclonex topically to clear up spots if I have a flare-up, it is strong and the best I've found. I combine that with Humira, which is an injectable biologic that I do every 2 weeks. That or similar (there are others) may be what Cher mentioned, as well. The biologics are typically reserved for moderate to severe cases because of all the risks (they essentially suppress your immune system). I'd probably ask for a stronger ointment when you go back to the doctor...Taclonex or a steroid (halobetisol is a good one). That might buy you a bit more time before they start reappearing. Hate to say it, but this could just be something you have to deal with long-term. It sucks. Another tip: my long-time dermatologist always says that his Psoriasis patients are the only ones he advises to get sun--not a lot, obviously, but a few minutes every day w/o sunscreen. There is also light therapy you can do for mild cases.

The urologist thinks H is okay for now. She said to just keep doing what we've been doing & to harp on daycare about using Vaseline at every diaper change.
Yay!
