So I have the DollarStore version of vino s pantry. Not quite as pretty, but I have cheap baskets from the dollarstore and I organize stuff in the baskets. Mine is deep and narrow so the baskets make it easier to reach the stuff in the back (quicker to haul out a basket that's in the way rather than a bunch of individual stuff).

when choosing baskets just be sure that they have straight sides, otherwise they’ll be wasted space if they have a curve on them, cause then they wouldn’t sit right next to each other.

Just here to stare at the pantries again. And dream about sophiegrace ‘s massive walk in with shoe wall. Some day my kids will appreciate my need for organization. Some day.

I have baskets for my herbs, spices and baking stuff, but I don't like them. I think it'd be easier to use the lazy susans for them though.

Ohh I need those doors tgrimes! Our pantry is such an eyesore. DS11 broke the bi-fold doors sometime ago and we just never fixed them, so our pantry is on full display at all times. And it's always a disaster. I am not sure how many bags of croutons MH needs. Apparently all of them. I would do very, very dirty things for a walk in pantry. Very dirty.

He's the worst at looking for shit, so when he doesn't see croutons right away he thinks he's out and buys more. Before you know it we have 7 half empty bags of croutons.

I need to quit my job so I can do all the fun organizing things I have planned out in my head! ETA: Reading this back it sounds like a jab at you, but I swear it's not! Just saying work gets in the way of all the things I want to do around the house that will likely end in an epic disaster.

And I’ll be honest, I never get done what I think I should be capable of. This dang kid. But it’s an even bigger difference on my work days. I barely keep my head above water on those days.

Alright so our pantry is looking pretty great right now. I’ve decided against baskets and bins right now because I know us and it’s just going to be mini contained disasters that will just appear to be neat and pretty. I think it would work better for us if I had a set date, like first garbage day of the month, to do a quick once over and organization.

Bumping. I've only completed around half of my list. Some of it is DH's and if he leaves soon that stuff will get put off again. I'll try to knock off a few more of my things before the end of the year.

Bumping this up. How is everyone doing on their lists? I'm finally at a point where life doesn't feel super overwelming so I'm going to try to write these things down. -Buy mirrors for powder room and master bath and install. -Pick up mirror from parents house for C's bathroom and install. -Buy bathroom hardware and install. -Pick up back splash tile from Lowe's and schedule tile guy. -Install range hood. -Figure out Christmas card, order and mail out. -Christmas shopping. -Buy a couple more Christmas items for the house and finish decorating. -Order closet system for C's bedroom and our bedroom. Finish unpacking our room. -Organize pantry. -Finish unpacking the office. -Clean and organize the basement. So from this list, here's what's left plus new stuff: -Schedule backsplash guy -Install range hood -Order closet system for C's bedroom and organize it. -Install our closet system and finish unpacking/organizing our bedroom. -Install cabinet knobs in upstairs bathrooms -Clean and unpack office -Organize basement -Organize pantry -Take down Christmas stuff and buy think about new decor
