The most “exciting” thing that has been posted is Tlex picture of the Uncle’s car.

Even though it weakens my theory that she was involved and it had something to do with a boy. The fact that she’s a cross country runner is really sticking with me.

They don’t think anything found in today’s search was of relevance.

@gentleapricot, are you saying you think she ran for it? She ran to meet someone or something. So she killed them and ran? My struggle with that is that they said she was close with her mom. I just can’t see her shooting her mom. I’m more inclined to believe that someone else did the killing.

I’m laid up with a sprained ankle and I’ve been on and off hold with the gov’t for hours now. To say I’m refreshing all my pages on this case heavily is quite an understatement.

That would be so fucked up. We had a local case several years ago where the H did it and was the one organizing searches and crying in front of the cameras. In that case, the cops figured he did it and were just gathering info while he thought he was playing them. People are crazy. Yes! We had one here! The boyfriend murdered his pregnant girlfriend and he joined the search party and stood with her parents at the press conferences and everything. Police knew the whole time they were just letting him play it out while they gathered their evidence. He was actually just found dead in his jail cell last month.

i feel like the most obvious answer is internet boyfriend gone wrong, but if that was the case then surly the police would have found that on day 1

Apparently the owner of the black acura is a nurse who was driving home from her shift past the house that night. She called herself in (so facebook says) I can only imagine what kind of out of body experience it is to connect the dots and go “um that was me 🙋🏻♀️” Somewhat along these lines, on our FB page someone posted a video from the ring feed of this dude walking up, looking confused, looking in their window, etc etc. Everybody was all "call the cops!" "Criminal!". Then the guy commented and it was hilarious. Like he was so apologetic, sounded like he was drunk, his friends told him to go like, to the house past the blue house or something on this long private drive and he got confused. I did feel bad for him because he was so sorry and embarrassed but like...just imagine if that was you. Omg 😂

I dont see how she could be involved. If she was talking to anyone, the cops would know by now.

There is a Facebook site called the Abduction of Jayme Closs- by Badmins
I got the car picture from that group (it had been posted elsewhere as well).
The Badmins run various pages on unsolved crimes like Websluths, but don’t have all the rules that websluths does. I don’t love the Facebook format, but enjoy the sluthing!

Is there any chance that Dad could’ve gotten home from work and been the one to kick in the door and call 911?

No snark, I just want to picture the scenario. I've read this one elsewhere -- Dad parks the car in the weird spot because something is off. Maybe another car there, maybe he sees lights on that he wasn't expecting, etc. Runs to the door, sees someone in the house and/or his wife dead on the floor and kicks the door in to get in. Killer hears him kick the door in and shoots him on sight.
