So many other questions--where did he meet them? Was it all online or in person? How did wife find out? Is there anything criminal here? From what I can gather, he plays some sort of game online. He would never let her have the passcode for it. He works a lot of hours and one time she needed his phone and found notifications from 4 women. It now seems to be far more.
Criminal, possibly. There is a conversation from some of the ladies that there will be an extortion lawsuit.

It's always so scary to hear these stories. You love and love with someone for years and can have no idea who they truly are. I was listening to a podcast several weeks ago where they were talking about how you can only ever really know yourself and you really can't know if the person sleeping next to you is really the person you think they are. It freaks me out if I think about it too long. I have known this dude since he was 16. We actually lived together for over a year. I cannot even comprehend him doing this. But I don't think he is even denying at this point. |

One of my friend's dads did something similar. One day he just up and left, apparently traveled Europe with some woman, and then showed up back home after a month acting like he never left. People can be so fucked up

Damn, that's crazy. I feel for his wife. I know of someone personally who discovered her H was cheating with multiple women he found on dating sites. And it had been going on for years, during which time they were going through IF and the process of having 3 more children. After she kicked him out, he acted crazy for quite a while.

How awful, what a dick! His poor wife, that's got to be a shock to discover. My uncle is the same way but he's a large, balding 60 year old man that looks like Gru from Despicable Me, so I don't get it. I'm assuming he tells these women he's a millionaire or something, when in reality he lives with his parents...
Also, I think you need to do what you feel is best. If you want to support her then go for it, but don't feel pressured to just because she's technically "family". I'm sure she has plenty of other people to support her.
