Ds1 has been ... Challenging lately. But yesterday, he woke me up and said "mommy, I need a big hug. No, with both of your arms!" And today, when ds2 woke up to nurse at like 7am, ds1 came in the room and said "aw, mommy. Ds2 wants some milk! Look he burped!" (And petted ds2 lol).
Three is a tough age. So sweet and smart, but so stubborn.

Aww grumpycat, that is pretty sweet! I think 3 is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, haha. Thanks everyone, yeah, I'm not super worried about it. I'm sure she'll sleep eventually, to me it seems normal for a bit transition. The teacher seems more worried. I'm kind of under the impression that they'll let a baby cry for awhile longer than 8 minutes. I was like, if it's whiny crying, fine, but when she really escalates, she's not going to calm down on her own. But either way I'll let her know to do what she thinks is best because I don't want DD kicked out š¬š I just expected her to be slightly more understanding? Oh well, we'll see how tomorrow goes!

roloma Iām so sorry! Ds1 had a persistent ear infection around this age too. He was on amoxicillin (which caused a nasty looking but non-allergic rash), cefdinir, and finally rocephin shots. He ended up getting c. Diff so make sure youāre doing probiotics. I tell that to anyone with babes on pro-longed antibx bc I felt like such a bad nurse mom. Although his pedi never suggested them either... But anyway, he never ended up getting tubes! His pedi said thereās something about the age from 9-18 months where their ears are growing so rapidly and changing they just canāt drain the fluid properly.

She thinks that probably the last one cleared up and these are new from his new sickness. So annoying. Hopefully the cefdinir does the trick. I should get him on a probiotic but with his MSPI it was difficult to find a safe one when he was littler. Now I think he can do the Culturelle for kids and it's safe. I'll probably grab some tomorrow. DS1 went through a phase where he had several in a row, spaced just enough apart that it fell outside of the tubes area. He hasn't had one in a very long time luckily. I know this age is really prone to them.
