Good morning,
We’ve hit the 3 week growth spurt so we’ve been up since 4am nursing on and off. I’m really hoping to get a nap in after dropping N at school

nam2013, L has been waking up between 5-5:30 for the last 5 days. Not sure if it's just a little phase or if I need to push her bedtime back a bit... J had been doing this for a few weeks, then it became 06.30, which is fine. This morning she woke because ds had a coughing fit. I never changed her bedtimes. Sleep begets sleep, I always think. |

C got up at 6 but I got up at 5:30 to work out.
Not much going on here today. I am leaving around 4 to run some errands before picking C up. If he is good at pick up we may head to the party store to get goodie bag supplies for his party next weekend.

Ran into a former student at preschool drop off this morning. She has a three-year-old and an 18 month old, and today is her 33rd birthday. She remembered me from the one class I had her in back in 2001-2002. Crazy!

Morning! I woke up from some weirdo dystopian dream this morning - I don't remember a single detail but I have been feeling super off kilter ever since. I never fell back to sleep but I stayed in bed for an extra 45 minutes because I was feeling lazy. I still got a few miles in but overall, I'm just feeling off. On a positive note, we got the boys to bed a bit earlier than usual last night, so they didn't fight me nearly as much as usual this morning. Of course DH was still unhelpful so I ended up a bit late for work anyway. Fortunately I'm one of the first ones in every morning, so it's not like anyone knows. I just hate missing out on that quiet time when I can catch up on emails in peace. Instead I came in to a stream of client calls before I'd finished my first cup of coffee. Not a good look!

Last night Julia got out B's and her water from the fridge, walked over to B, handed it to him, he took it, she stood there like a little gremlin, after a few creepy seconds of staring she yelled, 'SAY THANK YOU'.
Manners are serious business in the Vino house.

Where can I get an invitation I ordered on Etsy printed? I only need like 10 of them. It's like $20 to print them at staples which seems high? Or no?

Morning!
It's been a busy week here, both at work and at home, and I have back to school night for the boys tonight. Normally I would just skip it, since I do drop off and pick up most days I get to talk to the teachers and know what's going on, but this year, S teacher works 8:45 -3, so I literally never see her. It's always the floaters when I drop off and pick up. MH is out of town so I have my dad coming (for the first time ever) to watch the boys. Fortunately school is 3 minutes away so I shouldn't be gone for more than 30 minutes.
Because he won't change diapers. And is mostly deaf. But I'll feed the boys dinner before he comes and put a movie on, so hopefully it will be fine !!!

Also, I wanted to thank you all for the advice you gave me on the private board the other week. Not sure if the advice helped, or honestly, just typing out my frustrations helped. But I have been so much better. I've been taking an extra breath, and reminding myself that he's 4 and it's not his fault he's so frustrating sometimes.
We've had only 1 serious tantrum from him since last Friday, and that was on MH watch. So he is responding well to my attitude adjustment.

vino, just curious, can service members rock the ganj too? It's legal here in WA but a big no-no for soldiers because it is illegal federally. And lol to little miss J. mamabear, I hope another sitter comes through for you. And your furnace gets fixed. Brr!

It was a very, very last minute discussion within the DND but the end result is that they are basically treating it like alcohol, so dry exercises and time frame before working etc. |

Hello! Just another day at the office. We picked up dhs new truck from the other dealership last night and barely missed hitting a deer on the way home. Now we have to majorly rearrange/clean the garage in order for it to fit.
Dh might go out with friends tonight and I’m looking forward to putting the kids to bed and catching up on shows.

wineallthetime do you have FedEx/Kinkos nearby? I've had stuff printed there for much cheaper than what you were quoted at Staples. mamabear Fingers crossed the furnace is up and running soon! Any babysitting services in your area? We have one that I've used occasionally...it's more expensive than our regular sitters but great when you're in a pinch.

also, Hi! I went for a walk with some MOPS friends after drop-off this morning, then C and I ran a quick errand. I'm about to put her down for a nap. B is at stay-and-play today so I have some extra time  I woke up at 2:45 last night and didn't get back to sleep til 6; thankfully the kids stayed in bed til after 7 and DH took care of everything until he left at 8 so I got a few extra Zzzz's. I have been so stressed about (yet another) situation with our stupid property manager. DH is on his way there to talk to them now, b/c they have not responded to a single request in the portal, call or email in 2 weeks. So frustrated. We did reach out to the owner, who has not heard from her either regarding this issue. I don't know what our next step will be, JAG? We're heading to FL tomorrow for a long weekend; laundry is done but I need to actually put some things in suitcases, I guess. |

mamabear I hope your furnace is fixed soon! I guess maybe it's good to get it out of the way at the beginning of the season until the middle of a long, cold spell? Congrats on the new vehicle slenle. I'm jealous over here! My mood is somewhat better today. H and I seem to be communicating better, although that may just be because he's out of town and knows I'm upset. The dealership called me yesterday and offered to take my current Jeep back and let me drive the one I test drove, until mine delivers. I told him I wasn't comfortable with that, in case of an accident. I'm just going to wait it out I guess.
