Weeks pregnant: 21+2
Baby is the size of a: banana
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Pink
Appointments: at 24 weeks so not for a while. Confirmed gender at my a/s last week and everything went perfectly!
Symptoms: Moving a little slower, super hungry, no more sitting on the floor for long periods of time, my back was not happy about that. Insomnia is still frustrating!
Milestones: Enjoying being past the halfway point.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I have so much to do and not enough time to do it. I'm tired of being overwhelmed by it all, I just want some time to focus on baby and shopping/preparing for her!
GTKY: Any plans for Halloween this year? Keeping it simple. Doing a brothers costume this year for the boys and they'll trick or treat. We grew our own pumpkins this year but we'll still go to a farm for a hayride etc.

Weeks pregnant: 21+4 Baby is the size of a: Least Weasel FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM Team: Pink Appointments: Check up today and hopefully getting my repeat A/S scheduled, too. Symptoms: Mostly a lot of discomfort and getting tired easily. Out of breath easily. Not much else, though, thank goodness! Milestones: Viability is so close! Cannot believe how quickly this pregnancy is flying by. Rants/Raves/Vents: Hm. Nothing, really. I really need to go through all the boy baby things and pull stuff I want to use with this one and sell the rest. It's going to be so hard. GTKY: Any plans for Halloween this year? Taking the boys trick or treating, need to pick up a couple pumpkins and that's about it, I guess. Nothing too fancy or special.

Weeks pregnant: 21w2d Baby is the size of a: Endive FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Pink Appointments: Fetal echo/growth scan in a week Symptoms: Insomnia, back pain, GI stuff. Milestones: Baby's noticeably responding to sweets with a bunch of kicks. Rants/Raves/Vents: Rants: I'm feeling not so great mentally. Pregnancy seems to mess with my mental health. Raves: I tried regular (non-prenatal) yoga during lunch today and still got a lot out of it skipping planks and other postures. GTKY: Any plans for Halloween this year? I'm taking my kid to an event at the zoo a few days before, then a neighborhood parade/event the day of. Pic: {Spoiler}

Weeks pregnant: 26 Baby is the size of a: butternut squash FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM Team: green Appointments: Nov 2 Symptoms: out of breath, moving slower Milestones: Rants/Raves/Vents: only 10 more full weeks of work until maternity leave! Not that I’m counting or anything. Still feeling unprepared for baby. The ILs are coming in a couple weeks and after they leave I want to turn the guest room into baby’s room. GTKY: Any plans for Halloween this year? Taking the boys ToTing. we’ve just been having fun walking around the neighborhood looking at the Halloween decorations.

Weeks pregnant: 23
Baby is the size of a: Box of Mac & Cheese
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: 💙
Appointments: Not for a while
Symptoms: I am losing my damn mind. I am seriously such a basketcase. I am not usually a super emotional person, but oh dear I am a mess. I don't remember being such a total disaster with my other pregnancies. I have talked with my midwife about my out of control anxiety. I am seriously ready to feel like myself again. I am not sleeping well, which I think is really compounding the problem.
Milestones: Nothing really. Just chugging along. Baby has kicked me hard enough to startle me.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I think I ranted about this last week, but I am so frustrated about our upcoming move. We tried for this baby for so long, and now that he is finally coming it happens to be at the same time the perfect real estate opportunity has come up. I am so frustrated to have the strain of a move both mentally and financially at this time I want to just be enjoying my growing belly.
GTKY: Any plans for Halloween this year? Halloween is going to be a disaster and I am super nervous about it. Halloween falls in the middle of a week long jury trial for me. I will be pretty much unavailable so hopefully H can handle it.

Bonus points for bump pics 😊
Weeks pregnant: 22
Baby is the size of a: coconut/ spaghetti squash
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: pink 💕
Appointments: Check up Wednesday
Symptoms: Heartburn, peeing all the time, lots of movement!
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/Vents: Might be TMI for some but seriously hemorrhoids suck so bad. I think I got one with DD but I don’t remember it ever hurting or causing any issues so this is the first time I’ve really had to deal with one. Any suggestions would be fab. I read witch hazel and tucks pads are supposed to help. I plan to ask my OB about it this week. I think sitting for 10 hours in the car this past weekend didn’t help and I’m so over it already.
GTKY: Any plans for Halloween this year? Trick or treating with some neighbors in the hood. DD wants to be a cupcake (lol) so we will be looking for a costume this week!

cch one of those inflatable donuts to sit on for long periods of time/hard chairs helps, and then just making sure your diet is friendly so you don't make it worse. Sorry, they suck.

hrh thanks lady. I’m rarely constipated- my morning cup of coffee always helps to get things moving but ugh who knew these things were so damn uncomfortable. Oh the joys of pregnancy 🙄 On a different note, I’m super jealous that y’all grew your own pumpkins! This is the second year we’ve tried growing some and the plant itself blew up but we never got any pumpkins. I was talking to a farmer at the pumpkin patch we went to this weekend and he mentioned pollinating the flowers is a big deal for pumpkins. Did y’all self pollinate? He said you need a ton of bees to help the process if you don’t do it yourself. We are pretty successful with other plants and produce but pumpkins are not our specialty 🤷🏼♀️

cch I understand all too well, mine flare up too. So many perks of pregnancy! This was our year to experiment with the pumpkins because my son really wanted to do it and frankly, we got lucky. We didn't self-pollinate, just left it up to nature and crossed our fingers, but we are near the country and also had squash, zucchini, cukes, etc. growing nearby so it is entirely possible they were even cross-pollinated to fruition. You could try self-pollinating; the plant should produce male and female flowers, but that's a lot of hassle. By the end of the summer our garden was just out of control. We did control the size of the plant a bit, and only allowed the one plant because it took up so much space, so that may have helped it remain healthy. Hope you have better luck next year, sorry I can't be of more help!

Weeks pregnant: 20+5
Baby is the size of a: SBX Venti coffee cup
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: secret
Appointments: repeat anatomy scan rescheduled from this week to next.
Symptoms: itchy darkening nipples (boo). High sex drive and the best orgasms. Did DH's birthday shopping this week so sorry honey, most of your presents are for sex, so they're really for me lol. Also gassy.
Milestones: Forget if I mentioned before, but OB has officially scheduled our c-section for 2/22/2019. DH is super excited about "Meet the Baby Day"!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Baby kicked and flipped around so intensely for a couple straight hours yesterday morning that I actually felt super irritated and annoyed by it. Which feels like a terrible reaction because I am so relieved to have a healthy strong baby. But all I could think was, it's like an obnoxious sibling is going "poke...poke...poke" at you at random intervals, I don't want another 18 weeks of this! Hopefully as the motions get stronger and clearer they will not make me feel so queasy, or maybe it's something we get used to and tune out?
GTKY: Any plans for Halloween this year? We pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. I am just debating what to buy because I don't want to have leftover candy in the house tempting either of us, but I also want to get plenty of good stuff for the kids!

notagoddess I'm glad the yoga worked out! k Yay for the 10 week countdown! wildflowers I'm so sorry for your anxiety and the big stressors going on. DH deals with anxiety and it's clear that it really interferes with quality of life even at times that you'd want to be happy. Saying a prayer that everything goes smoothly with the house and the big trial this week! cch Ouch to the hemorrhoids! (also...that is a hard word to spell lol). My mom has them all the time, she was actually able to have them treated somehow when she was pregnant, the doctor did a procedure while she was awake that removed or reduced the affected vessels somehow and she said it made a huge difference, but not sure if that's something that's still done or how extreme hers were...she also uses Tucks pads every time she poos and feels like it makes a big difference. I got one early this pregnancy and thankfully it calmed down when I started drinking 16 8-oz glasses of water each day and just never put any kind of effort or strain into pooing...if I do, then it stings after especially in the shower? TashaLa Woohoo for being recognized as pregnant in public! The closest I've gotten was seeing people I vaguely know, and they gave each other a knowing smile and asked how I was, and I was like we're expecting, and they were like well we thought so but didn't want to assume. I guess that was polite but I am looking forward to an unequivocal, "ooh a baby!" or something!

hrh we also had squash and zucchini! Our zucchini plant was the bomb and produced 9” zucchinis which I was super impressed with! We also had tomatoes, sunflowers, watermelons and green beans earlier this year but those plants have been done for a couple of months. We pulled the pumpkin plant last week since we didn’t get anything so currently we only have peppers. 28 pepper plants to be exact lol - MH is a pepper freak! Maybe if we planted the pumpkins a little earlier they’d have the chance to cross pollinate with some other plants. We’ll have to try that next year! sunshiney Glad to know there are options during pregnancy to help the pain. I’m definitely talking to my OB about it tomorrow!

wildflowers hugs, I’m sorry you’re having such a rough time. Good luck with your upcoming trial! I know these next few weeks will be brutal. Hopefully you can take it easy once it’s over. cch omg I was coming on here to post my check in and talk about how done I am with the effing hemorrhoids! I have no idea how many I have but they are agony. It’s like a hundred razor blades every time I have to go 😞 I try to make sure I’m regular (sometimes I’m still getting constipated which is a new and frustrating issue for me), and when they’re bad I use Tuck’s pads and apply Preparation H after using the bathroom. The absolute worst.

Weeks pregnant: 25+3
Baby is the size of a: baseball glove/cauliflower
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: 💚Green💚
Appointments: 28 week checkup and glucose test on 10/31, growth ultrasound the next day (though DH wants me to reschedule because he has a work thing)
Symptoms: awful hemorrhoids, some constipation (which doesn’t help), lack of any sex drive at all. Still suffering from the side effects of my BP meds, which make me feel like I’m going to pass out multiple times a day, especially in the morning. But hey, my hair looks great!
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/Vents: now that I stopped working it’s time to put my family on a serious budget. I’m balancing this need with my desire to spend the next couple weeks (while we still have our nanny) pampering myself!
GTKY: Any plans for Halloween this year? We are dressing in a family costume and taking the kids trick or treating. And DS has a parade at his school that I’ll go to with DD.

cch Your garden sounds awesome! Our zucchini did pretty well too. We tend to overplant/not give things enough room so something always suffers. This year peas didn't stand a chance. We do a variety of tomatoes, carrots, peppers, gourds/zucs/cukes, and then this year tried the pumpkins, leeks, and sweet corn. Sweet corn we kept too many plants too close together so the ears didn't grow big at all. I'm so bad at thinning out the plants, but want to try again next year! Sunflowers are so pretty but majorly attracted mice for us. They destroyed my deck couch cushions making a nest so sunflowers are now banned. wildflowers hope the trial goes well and things will calm down for you after. <3 I feel like my anxiety is ramped up more this pregnancy too and impacting my ability to get to sleep. LMK if you find a good solution, I should bring it up at my next appointment.

LMK if you find a good solution, I should bring it up at my next appointment. This is me too, and I definitely don't consider myself an anxious person in general. I hope it's not a TTM thing! I was attributing a lot of it to my awful job so I guess we'll see if being out of that environment helps at all.

LMK if you find a good solution, I should bring it up at my next appointment. The things I am doing so far to help are drinking chamomile tea. (I am going to try hops next.) We upped my magnesium, which I feel like has helped a lot. I am using the meditation app insight timer. Some of it just annoys me, but I really like some of the sleep music. And making sure I do yoga or walk everyday.

Weeks pregnant: 22w1d
Baby is the size of a: papaya
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: girl
Appointments: Not for 2 more weeks and it includes my GTT so not looking forward to it
Symptoms: Reflux, headaches, RLP
Milestones: None to really speak of this week
Rants/Raves/Vents: Other than starting to feel big, I'm otherwise doing pretty good and enjoying some cooler fall weather that has finally arrived. Keeping an eye on my BP and trying not to stress too much about that.
GTKY: Any plans for Halloween this year? For the past few years we have gone TorTing with my best friend and her 2 boys. We plan to do that again. I'm trying to find a cute shirt to wear that incorporates the bump cause I don't feel like dressing in a true costume while trying to manage 2 kids.

Weeks pregnant: 22+3 Baby is the size of an ear of corn FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Blue Appointments: The 28th? Symptoms: Soooo hungry, a bit of heartburn here and there, and I become uncontrollably tired around 9:00 every night. Milestones: MH felt his first kick the other day! Rants/Raves/Vents: Movement is finally getting stronger and more frequent! But I think he turned over the last few days, because it’s a bit lighter and in different spots than before. GTKY: Any plans for Halloween this year? I was hoping to take DS trick-or-treating so that we could meet our new neighbors, but he’s boycotting his costume right now. So unless he changes his mind, we’ll be staying home to hand out candy. Maybe he’ll see how much fun the other kids are having and he’ll want to give it a try. Hotel bump! notagoddess wildflowers Hugs for the emotional stress/anxiety (and to anyone else who is struggling). I’m generally an anxious person, but it’s noticeably worse when I’m pregnant. To make it worse, I’m a nervous traveler, so this week has been rough. Deep, intentional breathing has been helping me get through the roughest moments.
