Hello from the pedi! I think C has an ei. Other than that he's great though, just the ear pain, especially when he touches his ear.

Josie has preschool, so Charlie and I went to get him a haircut and run a few errands at Walgreens.
It’s so windy here today— so many tree limbs down in the roads and a few big branches in our yard.

slenle, several years ago when I bought my current car I was forthright with the salesperson. I let them know upfront that I was serious about buying. I did not want the runaround or any BS. I test drove and was sitting down with the salesperson to go over the $$. He showed me a ridiculous quote and I told him straight up I'm not paying that I want a real offer. He started dicking me around and I walked out and left. He tried to chase me out. I noped him and went back a week later with a Costco deal salesperson at the same shop. The first offer he gave me was good and what I was expecting. I bought it and smiled smugly at the other sales-douche who was there. It was very satisfying.

Have an amazing trip lfig. We were actually trying to plan a trip to Fiji around this time too but other things got in the way so we had to make other plans. I want to hear all about it though. It sounds amazing. Enjoy yourself. |

I don’t think i updated on truck shopping. We were really Unhappy with the pushy sales manager at our local dealership. The sales lady we worked with was fine but the manager was super arrogant and annoying. So dh called the dealership in our home town and they were super friendly, found a better truck for the same, maybe less money. Dh feels bad not supporting a local business because he runs his own, but customer service is key, man. He did, however, get a call from the owner apologizing. I left a dealership because the salesmen was horrible. I went to another lot owned by the same company and told the manager. I was just looking at that point and he refused to get the keys and let me look at a car. Not everyone drops 25k in a day, sorry dude. I bought a month later but not from them. |

guster it's slow going, we have 3 boxes done and j is anxious to do more. Hoping to make some headway this weekend on closets. I suspect we will be doing some runs between the houses with annoying stuff to pack since it's not too far. 2 week countdown!

Morning! H is at school. S and I are just hanging at home, we stopped and got donuts on our way home from drop off. I scheduled an appt to get checked out and no one can watch the girls so I guess they get to come with. It’ll be fine. Have a great trip lfig! |

Morning and TGIF. I have struggled all week because I've felt like it should be later, so I'm psyched for the weekend to finally be close. Inthe meantime, I'm trying to nail down a date for my office holiday party, book Colin's party, and finalize our Halloween plans. DH is supposed to order the costumes today and I need to know when they arrive so I can buy - or NOT buy - tickets to an event next weekend.
Anyhow it's beautiful but windy here, though it sounds like soccer will be rained out tomorrow. Whomp whomp.

Morning!
I caught up at some point yesterday, but tapa was being weird for me. I logged back on this AM.
Since M2 has been sick, his sleep has went to shit. Up multiple times last night. I had 2 cups of coffee this morning and that is unusual for me.
M was invited to an all star soccer practice tonight. When I called for more information, of course there is a fee for the practices, but tonight is free so I’m taking him. They are trying to build a team for competition with other leagues. LOL I am not interested in travel soccer for my soon to be five year old. Nope, nope, nope.

My FIL sells cars and while I think he's fairly straight-forward, sometimes I'll overhear him tell DH something and I'm just like, 'yeaaaah, no." DH tends to be more trusting in general, I think b/c of his dad. I guess b/c I've been in sales myself, I'm extremely skeptical.
When we were in the early looking phases for my car, we went to Toyota to look at the Highlander and 4Runner. The guy spent about 2 minutes showing us each of those before leading us off to look at the $80K Land Cruiser. No. First of all, not going to spend $80,000. And secondly, if I were, it would not be on a Toyota. It was such a turn-off, so we took ourselves down to Volvo and ended up buying that weekend b/c the guy we worked with was so great.
eta: Mattress-shopping is my #1 most-hated task. Hate, hate, hate.

My sister has ulcerative colitis and gets blood in her stool when she has flare ups. For me, any time i had blood it was from the point of exit, like a hemorrhoid or fissure. But it was also coupled with pain.

I’d try to jot down what you ate before you forget because my sister’s flare ups were very tied to her diet. Anything too acidic or nuts she’d have to avoid. |

Has anyone ordered anything from SHEIN? I just placed an order. This girl I follow on IG just did an Old Navy outfit haul and she got everything she posted sold out on the ON website because he following is so large. At least everything I wanted to buy. So I found some similar stuff on Shein... just kind of nervous about the quality.
