Morning! I’m not sure what I was thinking when I scheduled our flight departure for 6:30. Had to get up at 3 to get showered and loaded. And it’s an hour drive to the airport from my parents. We are headed to LA today then Fiji tomorrow night. I’m so sad to leave S for so long (2 weeks) but so ready for relaxing on the beach.
Today our friend is taking us to lunch somewhere in Beverly Hills. Then he got us tickets for something after, but won’t tell us what. I’m excited to do things where I don’t have to think about anyone but myself. I don’t have to worry about medication schedule, bedtimes, mealtimes for the tiny human.

Morning!
The remainder of the hurricane passed through last night, over 200K homes in our area lost power so we felt lucky to wake up with electricity this morning. On the plus side, it is nice and chilly out today...fall is here!
I took the kids out for donuts and we might take a walk in a bit. Public schools are closed so that means preschool is, too (waaaah!)
eta: Oh, and I have a hair appt at 2 for the works. Really hope the salon has power, I'm a desperate woman.

Gunner has no school today so it’s just me and the little ones. Guess what I still haven’t painted Giovanna’s room 🤦🏼♀️ And now all the stuff I got for the walls is here. This was my inspiration I found on Pinterest .... I don’t think I’ve shared it yet.  |

TGIF! Fall is here and it's a beautiful day. Had a parent mix and mingle at school this morning and trying to be productive at work but having trouble focusing on much. One week left of this stupid class, I have a horrible group and our paper needs some work 😕

Hi. it's Friday, thank goodness. Although I'm happy to be at work cause MH was in a mood last night and will probably be today because of an oral and written french tests the last couple days.

Have so much fun lfigI love that sands42 so pretty! Happy Friday! Not much here today, gym, errands and then I have rylands preschool conference. About ry, after a few days of hard consequences for his “mean boy” behavior, it seems to have stopped. Anyway, later I have a play date with some moms/kids I’ve never met but that also have hard of hearing/deaf kids, so I’m excited for that. |

Morning! Wfh today and then I’m leaving for San Diego this afternoon. N about broke my heart on the way to preschool telling me “I almost have tears coming out of my eyes because I’m sad you’re leaving” and she was trying really hard to hold back from crying. I had turn away before i started crying. THIS DOESN’T HAPPEN WHEN DH LEAVES! 😭

I don’t think i updated on truck shopping. We were really Unhappy with the pushy sales manager at our local dealership. The sales lady we worked with was fine but the manager was super arrogant and annoying. So dh called the dealership in our home town and they were super friendly, found a better truck for the same, maybe less money. Dh feels bad not supporting a local business because he runs his own, but customer service is key, man. He did, however, get a call from the owner apologizing.

Enjoy your trip slenle. Sales people at dealerships are the worst. Like, just let me look, I will ask questions when I'm ready, and just bring the best offer available, no dicking back and forth. I hate car shopping! |
