I haven't ready yet, but I just wanted to pop in since I finally have a minute at work to breath. HI!!! It's crazy here. With the two funerals, mom having been in the hospital, insane at work, birthday parties and nesting it's been an intense month. I think things have finally calmed down. I will be around more. LOVE YOU GUYS! off to read How is your mom doing with everything? She is actually doing ok. The day of my grandmother's funeral she was having some heart issues and ended up at the hospital. She had been sick with a really back respiratory virus the two weeks previous. She is now wearing a heart monitor and has gone though some testing with a cardiologist because they suspect she had a minor heart attack. I know this sounds bad, but I'm almost glad she has been sick recently. I think it has helped her not focus on grief so much and has helped kept her sober. I think having a heart attack scare also reinforced maintaining good sober relationships with us girls. Her and my dad spent this last weekend with us and it was wonderful.

We had well visits for Atticus and Poppy yesterday.
Dude is doing really great, and P is meeting/exceeding all developmental milestones and has caught up with her weight so we can switch off of our preemie formula.
I'm at the gym and then Miss P and I need to take some donations to the DV shelter.

My MIL is coming to my house tonight to watch the kids so MH & I can go to dinner with my FIL and their financial adviser. I'm really excited about wine and a nice dinner out, especially one that I don't have to pay for...lol.

My MIL is coming to my house tonight to watch the kids so MH & I can go to dinner with my FIL and their financial adviser. I'm really excited about wine and a nice dinner out, especially one that I don't have to pay for...lol. I’ve been looking into finding a financial adviser ever since the spring, but it’s so intimidating. I should ask my ILs if they have one. I need someone to tell me what to do with our retirement accounts. MH has 3 or 4 in different states and we need to consolidate based off everything I’ve read. |

I took the day off and sent all the kids away! I've been cleaning, unpacking, grocery shopping and went to boot camp. The best. These are my favourite days! Enjoy it! |

guster I finished the podcast! I’m kind of on the fence about it. In an earlier episode Sarah said she would basically say anything to get people to join. And then in one of the last episode she claims she would never use manipulation tactics like others did.... I don’t believe that at all. I still haven’t finished the last episode but that is how I was feeling as well. When I think about the money she earned, I can’t help but think about the number of people who drained their savings accounts because of the tactics she used. |

mwhip , why the fuck would someone give you that knowing it randomly plays music!?!? Right?! Also, it looks ceramic (?) Maybe that is just the lighting giving that impression, but I would not think that something ceramic would play music. Plastic, I could totally see. So, so odd. Regardless, that thing would be leaving my house. DNW creepy singing anything. YES! It's some kind of ceramic or plaster material. Maybe the creepy thing will become part of our Halloween decorations. |

My driver that is from Africa, his wife is in labor and apparently in his culture men aren't in the delivery rooms. And the nurses are making him feel awful for it! Her mother and sisters are there with her so it's not like she's alone.

I’m at speech therapy with Lucas but C is fussing so I’ll probably have to walk her and not be able to observe. Dh works in finance and it’s not a good day so who knows when he’ll get home. I’m mentally preparing to run both practices by myself

Cadence's fillings are done. She did great. They let her bring a stuffed animal from home, so at one point she randomly yelled, I've got a raccoon! She also told one of the assistants to move because she was blocking the TV screen, which was playing Frozen.
They went ahead and did both cavities, so hopefully we won't have any more for awhile.
Now we're home and she's watching Tom & Jerry.

I don’t think I said hi today, so hi! I had a lovely day with the kids. We played games, read stories and had a play date at a fun outdoor area. It was in the low 70, so nice to have this weather so late in the year. The kids got soaking wet after I told them they could in the water if they didn’t go in above the knee. Well that lasted about 3 minutes, should have know better, luckily I brought a spare set of clothes with me 🤣.

Dh just called to say he wants to go to the car dealership after work. He’s been talking about a truck forever and he’s generally cheap so I can’t believe this might actually happen! But he deserves it so I’m encouraging him to go for it.
