Welcome to the IVF check-in for June 19! Check-ins will be every Monday (babyhopes) and Thursday (bonzo). If we've left you off the check-in, or if you'd like to be added or removed, please let us know! This is a check-in for those who are doing IVF or FET. Please don’t hesitate to use this check-in for IVF/FET info and support even if you’re not currently cycling. If you are interested in joining, please fill us in on your cycle. Everyone is welcome. Also, please update us along the way! Asterisks will appear by your name if you do not update us in a check-in. After four consecutive asterisks (2 weeks), you will be removed from the list. Don’t fret if you are removed from the list, check in again and we will add you back. Once you get a strong repeat beta, congrats! We eagerly await your 3TIF Grad Check-In posts! We encourage you to intro on PAIF, and while here in the meantime, please consistently use warning tags in posts and siggies, and be mindful of your status, especially on 3TIF outside this check-in. Still waiting on my BW results. AF should be here this week. I'm supposed to go in for baseline, but I can't have my embryos transferred until the beginning of July. So, I really have no idea how long it'll be before we are off the bench.

babyhopes waiting sucks! Will you be on BCP until transfer to cut out a little time? AFM, I took my last BCP tonight. I go in for a suppression check Wednesday morning and start Lupron Friday night. My meds won't be delivered until Friday because of the Lupron compounding. I'm trying to stay calm that they will in fact arrive on Friday. QOTW: rainy days are made for staying in your pjs and watching movies on the couch.

babyhopes sorry for the wait. Hope you get to move forward soon birch113 I hope the lupron gets there in time! So stressful My appointment went really well. Dr said that he was very pleased with how things looked and I had no fluid in my uterus. Then told me to go get pregnant. Called my RE to give her the update but couldn't get in touch. Should be ready to go though for a transfer. Protocol is to monitor while waiting to ovulate on my own then trigger and crinone. CD1 should be next Monday.

babyhopes I hope you get to get things moving soon! birch113 I hope the meds arrive on time! I'm waiting for AF although she will likely not show until end of this week. Then waiting on PGS results so we can figure out if I'll go on BCP for a transfer or a fresh cycle.

We're still waiting on the results. I have some questions for my RE and nurse on Wednesday, but pending that we think we have a decision going forward. If we can get on the schedule for a banking cycle in August, we will do that. If not, we'll do the FET. I think this will work the best for my teaching schedule this fall, and there's enough time that, should we need to, I can schedule a lighter spring to accommodate cycles. Keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't come to that, though!
QOTW: I love to curl up with blankets and a good book!

babyhopes, hope things get moving soon for you! birch113, GL with the Lupron - sorry about the stress of it not arriving till Friday jense927, yay! Great news!! nikiswims, hope the time goes quickly and FX for a good PGS report bonzo, sounds like you have a good plan in place I'm just sitting here waiting. On the plus side, the RE is checking in on my insurance covering my medicine. The nurse said the patients in the current cycle have almost all had their injections covered (but not the IVF procedure itself), which she said is unusual, so that gives me hope that for some reason the insurance is starting to cover the meds. That would save so much money! QOTW: I love curling up to read a book. Or, if it's one of the many Harry Potter weekends, watching a whole day of HP movies

GL tomorrow, birch113. I am rooting so hard for this cycle! Glad things went well with your surgery and you got the go ahead, jense927. Hope your get your PGS results (and AF!) soon, nikiswims. FX your appointment goes well and you are able to find peace in your decision, bonzo. DH and I are having the stim vs. FET struggle ourselves. That would be amazing if your insurance covered some of your meds, daisy818. AFM, I finally got my BW results. Whew! My AMH came back at 1.06. I haven't heard from my RE yet as my results were posted to my q.uest account. AF is due any day. Once AF arrives then we'll go in to meet with the RE and decide how we are going to proceed.. stim vs. FET.

Well, after all that work deciding how to move forward, our embryo is aneuploid. So, FET is a moot point.

babyhopes, I love getting my labs before my doctor I hope that AF comes soon so you can have a plan. birch113, yay for no more birth control! I'm hopeful your meds will arrive on Friday...a lot can happen in 3 days jense927, awesome news! Almost time to get things going (not that you haven't been through enough). nikiswims, when will you get your PGS results? So much waiting with IF! Fingers crossed for your three! bonzo, so sorry to hear about your embryo. Hope you can get everything in line for this summer and your school year. Good luck with Wednesday. daisy818, it would be awesome if insurance would cover your meds! It's so nice that the RE office is working on that for you. I love my RE but I don't think they would do any medication stuff on my behalf. The one thing I seriously underestimated was the cost of all of my labs. I was so worried about my meds I overlooked that piece.

There is no way I could wait until my betas. Zero patience and self control over here. I had planned to test this morning, but then changed my mind when my dog woke me up in the early hours to go potty. I went to the bathroom before I realized it was 2:30. I thought by the time I woke up I wouldn't have much urine and would get a negative. However, I eeked out a tiny bit of urine at 5:30: {spoiler} It was positive. With our loss history we know a positive pee stick means little. Still, we're hopeful.
Betas are on Saturday so I will be peeing on sticks until then. QOTW: Staying in my sweatpants and watching movies. I do like to read, but when combined with the soothing sound of rain, I can easily fall asleep.

babyhopes, Glad your b/w made it back. Hope you have a plan soon! birch113, FX your meds make it by Friday! jense927, so happy you are cleared and your surgery was a success! Do you know when you'll be able to do a transfer? nikiswims, FX for good results! Do you know when you should get them? bonzo, Ugh, I'm so sorry about your results. I hope you can get on the August schedule. They initially told me I wouldn't be able to cycle until the middle of June but my nurse worked some magic and got me in earlier. daisy818, I hope they cover at least some meds for you! kyzo, Yay! So excited for you! Hoping for good numbers on Saturday! We got our PGS results back this morning and 7 of the 8 we sent in were normal! So with the 4 we left untested, we have 11 frozen! I have a Doppler ultrasound and office hysteroscopy next Monday and if those come back clear, we should be doing a FET in August. QOTW: I look for any excuse to read so probably that. However, where I live, rainy days don't happen very often.

Congrats kyzo! Hope you have an amazing beta Saturday. Well at last reading my AMH was 0.56, nikiswims. I'm DOR no matter what the number is, but DH and I were going to do a FET if the number was the around the same. My AMH doesn't change things from my RE's standpoint as he was leaving the decision up to us. DH and I made the decision Tuesday that we'll just go forward with another stim cycle.

Hi guys. It's been... a week. Sorry I haven't been on. Had an appointment this morning for my 2nd lining check, lining was 5.5. I go back in a week. This is just for the ERA cycle.
I got some blood work results back- I found out I have compound heterozygous MTHFR gene mutation. I don't know what that means for fertility and pregnancy yet. Anyone have any experience with this?
I'll read y'alls updates when I'm not so emotionally burnt out.

babyhopes I'm glad you guys made your decision. mommybumblebee (((hugs))) I don't have any experience with MTHFR. My RE doesn't test for it in his RPL work up. I know other ladies sometimes have taken methylated folate as that gene mutation impacts absorption of folic acid. When you're feeling up to it I'd love to chat about the ERA. We are considering it after our failed FET. No rush.

birch113, my era won't be for another couple weeks but yeah, I'd be happy to tell you about it. So far it's been exactly like a frozen transfer cycle. I did read about the methylated folate thing, so I started taking that last week actually. I figured it was probably still a good idea even I didn't have the MTHFR thing. Yay! Good luck getting started, birch113. I am sorry about the new added diagnosis, mommybumblebee. I would say if anyone knows about MTHFR it would be lemonliz. Seriously, she knows pretty much all there is to know about IF. Thinking about you, bonzo. <3
