I didn’t sleep well or enough last night, so today might be long. I am doing my best to lean in to both kids— we have the library and pumpkin painting planned today.

Morning, dd woke up at four, luckily she didn’t need me to come to her, but I was up! Was happy enough to see the Sox winning by a land slide (sorry joelies 😬) I might even have woken up Dh to give him this delightful news 😝.

Sounds like coffee is needed all around this morning!
It's raining again here today...I'm glad Evie's preschool rescheduled the pumpkin patch because it would have been a wet, muddy mess today.

I'm up with M, getting some work done while he eats breakfast. Now that J's cast is off he has all kinds of things he wants to do. So the train place today and Jumping Jacks on Friday lol.

Morning. I woke up with a massive headache. My nose is stuffy and for some dumb reason when I’m sleeping my body chooses to clench my teeth and force breath through my nose instead of opening my mouth. H has school this morning and I have work this evening and that’s all that’s planned for today.

trtlcrzy usually when I clench my teeth, it's because of stress. If I open my mouth really wide and stretch my jaw, it helps a lot. I catch myself regularly clenching a lot.

Morning - Another gloomy morning but with the added bonus of humidity. YAY. We have a guy from one of our biggest partners coming into the office today. He's not coming specifically to work with me but I'm sure I'll get pulled in. Plus my manager/co-team lead is out unexpectedly so I have to cover all the team meetings and organize today's demo. I need to put my big girl pants on and just deal with it.
It looks like I'll be heading up to MA this weekend. It's for some MLM crap but it means seeing my friends and I get to take the boys along (I've become a bit resentful of any weekend activities that take me away from them lately). I'm really looking forward to it and will try hard to control my eye rolling while I listen to drivel about toxins and chemicals from someone who is far too educated to actually believe any of that crap.

I saw. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the only thing I would have bought is the purple pearl surprise and it's already sold out. I was hoping for some possible party favors, but nothing caught my eye.

Cadence joined me at 1:30 in my bed. I now have a really bad crick in my neck going into my shoulder and back.

Yesterday ended with a massive migraine, the start of my first period since C, and another bad night of sleep for the teething baby. After I took the kids to school, I really wanted to curl up on the couch but I forced myself to walk C and the dog then got my bbm done. Now I’m going to shower and pretend C is sleeping instead of playing in his crib.

Not sure when I became a Yankees fan, but yeah, it was a bit dismal at our house this morning. I turned the game on last night, saw they were like 10 runs back and promptly turned it off. I used to be the biggest yankees fan around - many games per year, knew everyone's stats, etc. But since kids I sort of lost interest. I still consider myself a fan, but I am a bad fan who knows nothing about the team anymore.

Morning! Last day of work till Oct 29!! But lots to cram in it! Wrapping up things in my current position, then going to train with the person leaving the temporary position I’m going to when I get back from vacation. She thought I was coming to train tomorrow too...nope! Give me all your knowledge in 1 afternoon! Lol.
S had some difficulty walking again yesterday, but not as bad as before. I’m calling the dr today to see about increasing the medication for it because her hand still isn’t working either.

You know what I love about baseball in the us? That people who root for different teams can sit side by side in a stadium, if a player makes a good play, everyone can appreciate it not matter which side you’re on, kids can come to a game without being engulfed in profanities and swear words. It is just fun! Soccer in our country is very very different, supporters from different teams are kept apart, people get banned from stadiums, there are actual games played without supporters because it is to dangerous. It is beyond ridiculous.

I have no problem taking Evie to a Royals game, it's very family friendly, people don't over induldge (cough cough), there are activities for kids if they get bored, concessions are more reasonably priced. I won't take Evie to a Chiefs game until she's at least a teenager, they are crazy. People get in fights in the stands, tailgating starts 5 hours before game time, so people are SHIT faced before the game even starts, it's a mess...I mean, someone was even killed in the parking lot a few years ago because he was so drunk, he thought he was getting into his truck, but it wasn't his.

Same in Cincinnati. I'll take the boys to a thousand Reds games but never Bengals. My high school teacher was body slammed into a passing van while 8 months pregnant at a Bengals game..

My MIL has taken M to the Texans game. But they didn't tailgate beforehand and where they're season ticket seats are it's a bunch of old people. Lol. Lots of them bring their grandkids.

Morning. Nothing too exciting here. I ended up having yesterday afternoon off because it was so slow. I... did not use my time wisely and was not very productive at home. Oh well.
Today has been quiet so far too. I should make a packing list because I’m going on a girl trip this weekend to San Diego! This is my first real weekend away with girlfriends and I can’t wait!
