Sex isn't' really happening here. It went from uncomfortable to painful to too painful to try. I need to talk to my OB. I can't believe my episiotomy incision from 2 years ago still hurts

I can't believe my episiotomy incision from 2 years ago still hurts Ugh that sucks lady. I’d definitely talk to your OB about that. I had a 17 week recovery for my episiotomy and it was absolutely terrible. I can’t imaging it still hurting after two years though. Has it hurt constantly for the past two years or more so now that you’re pregnant again? Maybe the pressure from baby/ your uterus is making it worse? Hope your OB is able to help ease the pain and give you some answers as to why it’s still painful!

After my period came back, things got better and went 99% back to normal. Then as soon as I got pregnant, discomfort. Now the incision site seems raised and painful to the touch. I hope this is a fixable problem.

FX it’s something your OB has a solution for but if it’s going to continue being an issue through the pregnancy hopefully he/she has some insight on how to relieve the pain or possibly prescribe a numbing cream or something that can help. Episiotomies suck!
