Week/Fruit/EDD: 8w0d /Raspberry/ May 20
STM
Appointments: Thursday! So excited (also nervous) for an US.
Symptoms: Just generally I feel hung over ever day. Nausea, off balance, tired, headaches. So many food aversions. My H isn’t allowed to make coffee in the house in the AM anymore- that’s probably the worst one right now.
Milestones: First US will hopefully be one.
Rants/Venting: I want to feel better but I know it’s good to have symptoms and they will be here for at least another month if things are going well. 😬
Raves: The weather starting to turn has been great! Pumpkin patch soon with the girl.
GTKY: I don’t know when to tell E. I guess around 12 weeks. We will probably announce to immediate family after this 8W US if everything is ok. She’s almost 3.5. We have started to ask her about a little brother or sister and most days she says she wants one LoL. She watches Peppa Pig with little brother George and Daniel Tiger with little sister Margaret.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 7w, 1d/Raspberry/May 26th
FTM/STM/Etc: STM
Appointments: Next Monday! I am really nervous/excited about it.
Milestones: Just feel better about life lately.
Symptoms: Bad acne still, some cravings/aversions, and tired. By this time with DS, I was unable to eat anything. Don't have that problem this time around, I'm trying to keep track of calories and watch my food intake, because I'm already gaining weight.
Rants/Venting: Just annoyed I'm gaining weight. Oh, and DS's speech thearapist was here, and now I'm feeling guilty that the new baby will set him back. He's been doing well, well enough she thinks he won't need help by PK, but sometimes big changes can stump them.
Raves: Glad some of our farming stress has cooled. Makes life a little less urgent and desperate.
GTKY: Has anyone told your other kids (if applicable) about this pregnancy yet? When will you do it if not?: DS isn't verbal yet, and I don't think he'd really understand, he's only 19 months. I have told him a couple of times not to jump on mama's belly because his sister is in there (don't know, just guessing).

Week/Fruit/EDD: 9w + 3d/pecan
FTM/STM/Etc: TTM
Appointments: Friday! I am so excited!
Milestones: n/a
Symptoms: nausea, tired. I had some sour mouth, which I had never had before. It went away for a bit, but may be back now. Something i read said nausea peaks at 9 and 10 weeks. I really hope this pregnancy is like my daughters, where nausea went away at 12 or 14 weeks.
Rants/Venting: I worry about how badly I am eating, but it is helping to control the nausea. I was also really sad about not getting to eat sushi, and pookie when I was in CA. I was halfway through a soft serve the other day when I remembered that was on the no list.
Raves: My SIL (brothers wife) was so excited to hear the news, that was really nice. And made me more excited. DD and I had a really nice time in CA for a few days. Back in VA now.
GTKY: Has anyone told your other kids (if applicable) about this pregnancy yet? When will you do it if not? Not yet. I know they will tell people, and I have not even had my first appointment yet. We may tell them after the appointment on Friday, I don't feel like hiding it.

Solidarity to everyone feeling crappy about their eating. I too feel like I’m gaining weight already (I don’t weigh myself). I’m hungry every couple hours but nauseated at the same time it’s so weird. Typically I do intermittent fasting so I don’t eat til noon or 1pm. No way I could do it now even if I wanted because of the nausea. Mine is worse in the AM and early afternoon so I’m eating breakfast/snack/lunch/snack and then a light dinner of fresh fruit +/- cheese, nuts. Trying to limit the carbs at night other than fruit. Once the nausea gets better I’m vowing to do better with my eating. I’m still trying to make good choices but simple carbs feel the best on my nauseated stomach.

Week/EDD/Fruit: 5w4d, due 6/6/19, Appleseed
FTM
Appointments: blood draw Weds
Milestones: nothing new this week
Symptoms: sore growing boobs, fatigue, nausea, acne
Rants/venting: I have a blood blister from one of my PIO shots that itches and looks angry. Apparently it’s perfectly normal to get them sometimes, but it’s uncomfortable
Raves: the railings for our deck finally got installed today!(we redid our deck this summer, it’s been nearly done for about a month but the railing people were behind) I’m glad they’re in before we get any snow, so we don’t need to worry about slipping on icy steps.

courtniko, this may be a newbie question, but why is soft serve a no-no? If the machines aren’t cleaned very well they can harbor listeria. It’s not the ice cream itself as long as it was made with pasteurized milk.

courtniko, this may be a newbie question, but why is soft serve a no-no? If the machines are not cleaned well enough some dangerous bacteria can start growing in them. It is probably low risk though. ETA, I see elephantastic beat me to it

9 weeks 4 days. Due 5/9
STM
Appointments: first OB appointment tomorrow!
Milestones: first OB appointment
Symptoms: still some nausea but I feel like it's getting better. Starting to feel a lot more bloated. I've started looking on Amazon for maternity scrubs
Rants/vents: I just found out I'm working both thanksgiving and Christmas Eve this year. I've never had to work both so I'm kind of bummed. I feel like DD is going to enjoy the holidays so much this year and I'm sad I won't be there for all of them.
Raves: I'm so excited to see my OB tomorrow. She's the one who discovered some of my fertility problems back in 2012 and I've been seeing her ever since, and she delivered my DD. I know she'll be glad to see me too! I know a few of the nurses in her clinic as well. It's going to be a lot of fun!
GTKY: I've told DD but she's only 22 months so she doesn't really get it. We spent some time with a 1 month old baby this weekend and I was surprised how sweet and interested DD was with the baby.

sunny75, that stinks that you have to work both Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve. At least you get Christmas day off? I love holidays so much more now that we have kids, they make it more magical for sure.

Trigger warning- loss mentioned
Had my ultrasound today. She’s ectopic. Measuring 5+6 with a heartbeat. Just received methotrexate. Beyond devastated, but I’ve never felt more supported by my RE than I did today. She wants to offer me a free round of IVF if we can get it through management.

skidevil87 I am so sorry. I know the pain of an unexpected ultrasound and it's such a FUCKING gut punch. Please be kind to yourself as you get through it.
