Good morning. I’m home with C while DH is doing some work. I think we are going to head out to the trampoline place soon in the hopes he gets energy out and will nap later. Once Dh gets back I need to grocery shop. Exciting times over here!
My mom invited us over for dinner and she’s making pot roast, mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. I can’t wait.

Morning Ladies! I'm stuck behind a train on the way to the gym. I have a little work to do, so I'm taking my booty over to Starbucks. FX Bea takes a nice long car seat nap.
I tried to stay busy this weekend. It's a fine line between staying informed and involved in what's happening in the news and getting totally overwhelmed. Still working on finding that balance.
Hope everyone had a good weekend, I'll try to catch up later.

Morning! My FB memories say N took her first steps 4 years ago and today is Hs 2.5 birthday. What happened to my babies?!
N is at a field trip to a farm and it appears by the pictures the teacher posted, they watch a calf being born. I may have a lot of question to answer tonight. Haha
My coworker asked me on Friday for my opinion on her requesting a leave of absence for 4 months so she can work at a tax office during tax season... L.O.L! I’m pretty sure my boss is looking for reasons to fire her, soooo I don’t think that’s going to go over well. Only downside would be I would likely have to work 5 days a week which I reaaaaly don’t want to do. So we’ll see how this pans out.

I sent my MIL this with a caption that said “they have them for the whole family!”  Now she wants us to all get them and wear them for the family photo on the Christmas card. Lol! |

Also hi! The kitchen is being tiled and I don’t know what it is about construction. If you want it to be done a certain way you have to be there the whole time... so annoying. I mean I do not have my boss lurking over my shoulder from 9-5 to check my work! It looks good from a distance...  But I’m not happy with this...  |

Update from my sister who is on the field trip. They in fact watched the whole birth. And n got pooped on by a cow. 🙈 not sure how that happened!

tgrimes I wondered if anyone kept up with TWD still. I fell off last season I think. Watched maybe the first two or three then dropped it. Exact same here. They just kind of lost me. I read a synopsis of the episode last night, kind of accidentally--I didn't even realize it was starting back up. |

I made another referral for ECI services for H since he's still not talking much. He better qualify this time. I hope either he qualifies or just starts on his own before then! With all the issue with H ears, I'm wondering if that's had a large impact on his talking. Purely anecdotal, B wasn't talking at all before his tubes and adenoid surgery at 20 months and then slowly started saying a word here and there but still wasn't "talking" at 2. In the past 3-4 weeks he's had that explosion everyone kept saying would happen. He's still behind many of the kids but it's so much better. |

How pretty nam2013. The cabinets are so cheerful! And agreed, they should be able to get a cleaner edge on that cut tile. Sorry, dudes, re-do. You're right, though, that's the nature of the beast with construction...I've seen it at every price point. I guess here, outlet plates usually fit OVER the tile so you wouldn't see rough edges. Hmm, now I'm wondering what's lurking behind mine  |

The ENT said after his first set of tubes it solved the hearing issue so that shouldn't be hindering him anymore. I ran out to T.J. Maxx and got Josie a second Halloween costume (a witch) because I thought it was so cute, and then I had to run to buy paper towels so I treated myself to a payday. (Isn’t that the most old lady candy you can think of?)
