blabbermouth that sounds so lovely. And congrats to your friend on her rainbow! MH also needs to spend more time with AJ. He's a grade A clinger People say it's a stage, but I think I've figured it out. They're at the age now where you literally can't have them leave your sight because they are maniacs. So they get used to you having to watch them 24/7, so when you try to leave for a second they're like what the hell? 🤷😂😭

Just dropped off my pumped milk for my friend! Her newborn is so cute. I forgot how much I love that newborn squishy grumpface! (But seriously DNW another baby) ds2 played with her dog and cat ha ha. It was too funny. This kid loves animals and he's usually gentle.
We are going to pick up a dresser to re do this afternoon. I have to figure out how we will fit it in our suv lol. We may have to take the car seats out and have one of my neighbors hang out with the kids for a couple minutes.

I’m here. Visited today with a firend I hadn’t seen in almost 10 years. We grew up together and share a birthday, although she’s a year younger.
Celebrated later in the day with the in laws and family. My H and I share the day as well, although he is 2 years older.
Noticed this afternoon while E hysterically crying from the family members he didn’t know that he’s finally cut a tooth. From the looks of it I’m guessing last night or this morning.
+1 to the disheartened feelings about politics. Sadly, Susan Collins is my senator and she made a lot of enemies this weekend. The majority of the state didn’t want her to vote yes on Kavanaugh. However, she was royally pissed that a PAC promised to financially back her opponent if she voted yes. Her vote was basically a FU to her constituents.

Either she’s already decided she isn’t running again and hasn’t announced it so she has nothing to lose, or she really is stupid enough to think that the people support her decision. She made a lot of people pissed off when she voted to send Besty DeVis to vote making Pence be the tie breaker. She could’ve killed that nomination in the first round and she didn’t. That’s when a lot of mumbling started about making sure she wasn’t re-elected. She flew back last night and protesters showed up for when she arrived at the airport. She left outback like the coward she is.

We went to PAw Patrol Live which he loved and even E did great. But when we got home N was back at it. Never have I been so happy for bedtime. Tomorrow we have a bunch of family coming to celebrate my birthday (it’s Monday). Then we are going to the fair for the last day. so many libras on this bmb! Mine was Thursday. The Brewers won! My H is hoping to get tickets to the next series- they go on sale tomorrow so fx he gets some! We won’t talk about the other WI sports team’s performance 🙄
And we have tooth number 5. Ds2 was a grump yesterday and today, and he bit me while nursing (thankfully just once, my loud ouch scared him!). Fx he sleeps good tonight, this weekend was rough!

I’m here but I’m so angry with the current politics that it basically consumes me at every turn. I’m literally counting down the days until election day and hoping the Dems don’t fuck it up again.
My H has had a stomach virus since the middle of the night. So gross. I’m crossing my fingers so hard the boys don’t get it. So far, so good. N was spitting up a little after dinner but I think he just ate too much and then packed milk on top. The kid is an eating machine. And I don’t think he’ll ever wean. By this time DS1 was down to nursing only 3-4 times a day max. N is still nursing 6 times and then once overnight most nights. I tried dropping/merging the after dinner feed and he wasn’t having it. He gave me a big “maaaaaama” and slapped my boob. Ugh.
N’s gotten the courage to take a step here and there but refuses to commit. I’m ok with it, he’s fast and naughty enough as is.

Hi, all. This weekend felt so quick, and I really really don't want to go back to work tomorrow. We don't get a holiday. Grumble grumble. I'm also getting sick so I have a sinus headache.
But, this weekend was good. Yesterday I think we got some good family pics, and today we bought an SUV! We got a Subaru Ascent and traded in my sedan. I love it so much. H and I got a sitter for the morning to test drive, came home for lunch and to discuss, and then took the kids back to buy after we made our decision. They were both troopers; DD2 was there into her nap time and she almost fell asleep on the sales guy when he held her while we moved the car seats. It was very sweet, he was a baby whisperer.

No holiday tomorrow. I didn’t realize it was one until I got an email on Friday from a consignment store about a sale. I went there yesterday and got several things 50% off, including a pair of (pink) cowgirl boots in DD’s size. Not the right color for pictures next month and they are in sore shape, but she loves boots so they will be a staple for school. I also got several things for a quarter. If it wasn’t so close to nap time and DD was running out of patience, I would have scored more!

Also ordered the Etsy design on the kid’s party invite and got some idea of places to get supplies.

Good morning!
I’m spending E’s nap time making a pickup grocery order for her party next weekend. We’re probably going to have way more food than we need, but I’d rather err on the side of too much than not enough.
We got a ton of yard work done Saturday and Sunday, and today we’ve got some more cleaning to do inside.

DS1 slept until 715- that is unheard of in my house!
I’m at work as usual. It’s a humid and warm day here.
I really need to start packing my lunches again- both for the monetary savings and the healthy food factor. Just need to find a day that I can grocery shop solo- which won’t be until this weekend so... 😬

Happy birthday, sarahandben108! N had a rough weekend sleep-wise. This has been going on about a month, it's worse on weekends... when does this sleep regression end?! Or is it also teething, or the antibiotics... I just want/need my rockstar sleeper back. I noticed at daycare toward the end of last week and over the weekend N isn't really finishing his bottles. I don't know if this means he's losing interest in milk and we need to do some serious catch up on eating non-puree food (we are admittedly behind on this front), or if it's the antibiotics... I may call the pediatrician during their call-in hours tomorrow if it keeps up. Speaking of his antibiotics, Wednesday night can't come soon enough. We have to pin him down to get him to take the Augmentin and it kills me every time. Also beyond done with the diarrhea. It's not as bad as the first few days he was on it, though, and knock on wood I think we are staying ahead of his diaper rash. According to the app he just blew out at daycare. (facepalm emoji)

Just mopped my kitchen floor. It was so so gross. I had to put ds2 down without his zipadeezip so he's taken awhile to settle but I want to transition him out of it anyway, so 🤷 he ripped a hole in the hand of one of his zipadeezips and the other is in the wash somewhere. Hopefully he will do ok.

I need to mop mine too grumpycat, I didn't have it in me last night plus I had to check my apple bread 50 million times lol. Morning, I was up way too late being domestic. I successfully canned 10 pints of applesauce and told MH I was domestic AF lol. I decided to make 2 loaves of apple bread to bring to work, I've never used the recipe before so I hope they're good. Not much else going on.

He pooped so no settling here. I'll try again in a little bit when he's looking tired again. He's a teething mess though. So much drool.

Hey all. I'm looking forward to family time and turkey this evening!
DD is teething too. She only had one tooth on the bottom, but she's getting her top two now. I'm assuming that's why she slept like shit last night 😣 although yesterday afternoon she took my hands to go for a walk and walked into hey bedroom looked up at her mobile, I gave her her soother and put her down and she slept 😂 she put herself to bed, aww.

Both kids slept through the night....it’s been probably a month or so! I hope that helps us all kick this cold!
DS is going through leap 7, and bedtime/motn wake ups have been rough since late last week. He understands the routine now and doesn’t want to go to sleep. So much time doing Ferber this weekend.
I’m at work and want to cry because I can’t find my hydrology maps in CAD for one project. It looks like they were deleted, and small company doesn’t have a great backup server program. FML if I have to create them again when I just need to move on to the next task!

Morning ladies! I wish it had been a long weekend here, but no. It was still really nice a productive though. Halloween decorations are up. We went to the pumpkin patch Saturday morning and got adorable pics of the girls. Did a newborn photo session yesterday morning and I'm feeling really happy and confident in my work! Plenty of laundry and cleaning done and a successful grocery store trip without any crying children. The girls have gotten back into normal nursing schedule, so I think it was just a cold that was throwing them off. Everyone seems to be happy and on the mend too.
I have Friday off and plenty to do, so this work week should fly by!

BabyWaffle is in teething hell: top middle teeth are growing, the ones next to them just pierced, and the bottom incisors look ready to go.
She woke up screaming at 2am after a great day of naps and pool time and was definitely a lot grumpier today so fingers crossed for the night...
She also seems constipated so I was worried she didn't have enough water. We bought a sippy cup today as she just bites the bottle and she just bit the straw 🤷♀️

I'm at work. We are getting a new AC installed at home and H decided to start painting the bedroom yesterday so our house is in a bit of disarray at the moment. I'm sure he is going to want to finish painting tonight which will mean moving furniture etc.
We are supposed to have family pictures taken Sat and I am still trying to figure out outfits. I think I might sneak out to Target in a bit to look for something for DS1. I also need dog food lol.
Its been rainy and yucky most of the weekend but I think the rest of the week will be cool at least so I am looking forward to that.

Sorry for all the teething and sleep deprivation. cakewench I don’t mean to scare you and sorry that this advice is unsolicited, but if N’s diarrhea continues after he’s finished the antibiotics it might be worth getting him checked for c. Diff. Especially if the poos are greenish/super smelly. Ds1 had it when he was 10 months old after he had to be on a bunch of rounds of antibiotics for a resistant ear infection.

It’s amazinf what I can get done now that N actually Naps for longer than 30 minutes. I went through all 3 kids closets. Dragged my 12-18/18-24 month bins from the garage. Went through those and holy shit do I have clothes. Purged what I knew I would never him in based on style. He still has tons. I had 15! Hooded zip ups. Like what child needs that many?!?! Now finishing cleaning the playroom. And calling it a day.

I got a call from Ds1’s school today from the secretary and she said that there was a “mix up”, he didn’t get on the bus home, and it left without him. They called his bus to come back but the bus that came back to get him wasn’t the right one (!), so they were going to keep him at the school until they brought the afternoon kids in (45ish mins later) and bring him home at that time. My dad meets the bus back at our house so I just called him and told him to go pick DS1 up from the school. He is fine and was never truly lost (I don’t think?) but I can’t decide if I should just be good with their explanation of if I should “burn it down” and try to get more answers on what happened and how they can prevent this in the future.
It is a little confusing because he does stay for speech class on tues/thurs afternoons, so his schedule isn’t always consistent.

Diff. Especially if the poos are greenish/super smelly. Ds1 had it when he was 10 months old after he had to be on a bunch of rounds of antibiotics for a resistant ear infection. So far it hasn't been super smelly and is only greenish when the food he's had trends that color. I'm going to probably keep him on the probiotic a few extra days, since that's tasteless and just goes in his bottle, to help get him back to normal (I'll check with the pedi when I call tomorrow). Right now I'm more worried about dehydration since he's not finishing his bottles. I probably shouldn't be since it's only 1-1.5oz per bottle, but it does add up. But I will definitely be keeping an eye on him and if something isn't right, we will contact the pedi. I'm hoping it's just reacting to his first antibiotic course (and what a pain that it's such a strong broad spectrum one at that).
