Morning! Our lawn service has basically ghosted us. He hasn’t returned my calls or texts in the last two weeks. He was so helpful and professional that it’s shocking to me, so I was giving him time and the benefit of the doubt, but now I’m desperate. I put an request out on the local moms groups to see if we can get someone to blow and mulch the leaves soon. Our day was supposed to include more interior organization and what not, but it very possibly could be filled with raking and sweeping leaves! Ugh. I feel like this is the nature of the beast with lawn services and similar. It seems tough for even the good ones to keep help, and the bad ones just dip in and out. We were ghosted by two last time we lived here. I see comments all the time in FB groups I'm in with the same complaint. I hope you find someone reliable! |

Happy Thanksgiving vino and cheeksmum! nam2013 I think it’s great you pick vacation over house stuff. More of us should do that. I stayed out until midnight last night and drank more than I have in a very long time. I’m so lucky I put the baby to bed before the sitter came then he woke up and she gave him a bottle and got him back down before I came home. Then he slept until 6. Now I’m sitting at DD’s gymnastics private lesson in preparation for her first competition next weekend. We are picking up her friend on the way home and then I’m taking the 2 of them to get Halloween costumes (matching leotards to be gymnastics teammates). |

Cadence wants to go to the park, but I don't want her around other children. She is acting completely normal and the Dr. said after 2 doses of amox she isn't contagious, but I'm not risking it.
I'll take her for kolaches and to the dollar store for some Halloween decorations. Mh wants spiderwebs, which they have there.
Then, we'll spend the afternoon working on her costume and cleaning the house.

Morning! Yesterday was super fun, but it was a very long day starting at 9 and ending at midnight. I surprisingly feel pretty good this morning though!
Dh and I got into a fight before bed so I slept in N’s bed. We’re fine this morning but i just ordered us “the 5 languages of love” because I think we need to reconnect and focus on us a bit more.
One good thing that came from it though is that i think my headaches might be from our bed. I woke up feeling great after sleeping in N’s bed with zero headache. So we might be mattress shopping soon..

I can’t believe you still have that headache slenle! Does this happen often?? Nothing like this! I’ve always had a lot of headaches, even as a kid, but weeks on end is not normal. Hope you had a fun night out with new friends! |

Currently at urgent care because I'm sure I have bronchitis.
The boys coughed their way through the night and I've been up since 3:45.
We're supposed to have a date tonight but I'm playing it by ear. We plan to put the kids to bed before we go and it's my mom and sister watching them, they should be okay for few hours, right?

I can’t believe you still have that headache slenle! Does this happen often?? Nothing like this! I’ve always had a lot of headaches, even as a kid, but weeks on end is not normal. Hope you had a fun night out with new friends! I have pillow issues that cause headaches. I hope a new mattress helps! |

Boys woke up at 8 demanding waffles, and not the toaster kind.. So I made those and sorted laundry while they cooked. I have my last load in the wash now and I'm buried in paperwork. Hopefully I get this under control soon..

Beautiful as always cagoldi!!! Fun Halloween decorations Sunny41!!! I love Halloween decor! slenle Well I hope the mattress does the trick for your headaches!! I had a great time out last night. We went back to my neighbors house after the brewery and I didn’t get home until 1am. Also, I hadn’t met my babysitter before she came over- she’s a young girl who lives in the neighborhood... I just wasn’t expecting her to be as young as she was! Pretty sure she’s 12 or 13. She did a fine job with the kids though! They liked her. |

Finished runs to Target and the grocery store. LO and I are watching Garfield’s Halloween. After nap we are making cupcakes. I’m also working on laundry and meal prep.

Glad you had a good time sands42! Proud of you for putting yourself out there. I wish I had gotten involved with this moms group I've just joined when we first moved here--I feel like my life would have been a lot more well-rounded for the past year. |

I wish I had gotten involved with this moms group I've just joined when we first moved here--I feel like my life would have been a lot more well-rounded for the past year. Thanks Going to new moms groups/hanging out with new people is alwayssss uncomfortable and I never want to go but it is always so worth it in the end. I’m glad you have found a group to connect with too! It helps so much just to know people when you’re new to the area... I know you know exactly how that feels! |

Cadence decided to practice her 3s and 6s today. Unfortunately, it was on the couch with markers. I made her scrub it to show her that marker doesn't come out of couches, that's why we use paper.
I know it will come out in the wash, bit I wanted to prove a point to her.
I sent the picture to my brother and he said, "well, at least they are pretty good 3s and 6s"

Got all my emails taken care of, rate coms printed and bols matched. I used a whole reem of paper.... now to invoice. But we ran out to dinner and the grocery.
