Ladies I need help finding a 7 cu freezer chest. What brand do you use? What do you like about it? Any brands you hate? Don’t worry about pricing I’ll do more research but I’ve been in this black hole for days.

I don't know what brand ours is, I bought it off a local swap and shop, someone was moving and needed it gone. It's a smaller one, but has worked great for us so far. Every time I put a lot in it (last Wednesday I picked up 1/4 side of beef), I figure it's going to quit working shortly after that. So I'm of no help.

Same, I bought a used one for 100 bucks off facebook. It's a stand up. Definitely recommend that versus the chest. You get so much more useable space. It's old as dirt but still works great. I'll check the brand when I get home.

I do agree with peachsmama, I think you would find what you wanted in a stand up better than a chest. My chest freezer is a black hole...I never have a clue what is in it, nor do I usually know what's at the bottom. The only reason I do now is because I took everything out last week so the new could go on the bottom and last years meat, on top. I should have done a list or something.

We got a super old chest freezer (I think it’s Maytag or whirlpool) from DH’s grandparents when they sold their house. I’m sure it’s 20 years old. If we ever purchase one ourselves I’d do a stand up also, much easier to find things. I would just get whichever freezer met my needs at the lowest price.
