I did not get the alert, but i have amber alerts and govt alerts turned off in my settings.

We tested a very small sample in my office and it seems all the Verizon people got it, but not the AT&T people. Again, this was a small sample (3 Verizon users who got it and 2 AT&T users who did not) but I'm not sure if that might have been why? My AT&T phone and Sprint phone received it. It’s weird that the AT&T users in your area didn’t. It might be the AT&T equipment/software not updated. Not sure but I was told to let the carrier know if I didn’t receive it. 🤷♀️ |

I saw something about that in a FB comment on a news story--that it was carrier-dependent--but again, IDK why that would be the case. Our whole family has Verizon and we all got it. I had a perm in the mid-80s, which is why my hair is still somewhat wavy now, but it was my entire fat head, not just my bangs. I do not remember this 'trend.'

I got a perm once in like 2nd grade. No one informed me that I wasn’t supposed to wash my hair for a few days...and I did that night. Ruined the perm so my mom took me back to the salon to get it fixed and only half took. I looked pretty rough until my hair grew out enough to cut the permed part off.

Cooking help please:
I got this frozen buffalo Mac and you’re supposed to boil it in the bag. This is the largest pot I have. Will this eventually work out? I’m hoping it defrosts some and the bag can be squished in? The bag said to keep frozen.
I hate cooking and this is really only reheating.

Update the bag collapsed in half which caused water to splash out and kill the pilot light. C had fire safety at school and is all sorts of excited however I am not thrilled.

I never had a perm. My hair is naturally super curly anyway. They were pretty, spiral ringlets once I figured out what to do with them, but my mom was clueless about my fine, curly mop and whoa was it a mess most of my young life.
