For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated! 1. How old is your LO? 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3. What is something about extended BFing that surprised you? 4. Which nursing session of the day is your LO most attached to (wake-up, naptime, before bed...)? Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing? Any current challenges? Questions for other moms?
GTKY: What would be the worst “buy one get one free” sale item of all time?

1. How old is your LO? 16m 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 6? I’m going to count one of these days 3. What is something about extended BFing that surprised you? How your period can not come back. I’ve started drinking sage tea to try to reduce my supply and get control of my boobs and how you can still get mastitis. 4. Which nursing session of the day is your LO most attached to (wake-up, naptime, before bed...)? Probably before bed and nap time. We nurse to sleep so she has a rough time if we try to not.
GTKY: What would be the worst “buy one get one free” sale item of all time? We adopted a puppy this summer so I’m going to go with puppies. One is enough lol

1. 2.81 yo 2. 1-4 (our back to school schedule sometimes misses the early wake up session) 3. How much she would still want to nurse even though she is approaching 3 4. I think wake up time- she'd nurse for an hour every morning if I let her.
GTKY: Maybe a huge bulk paper product? Because I would want the extra, but have no room to put it?

Dd didn’t ask to nurse last night before bed (first time). I keep wondering when and how she’ll wean and I wonder if she’ll just ask less and less and then stop or if I’ll decide to wean her one day.

I'm struggling with when I cut DD off. She is nursing soooo much and won't stop when I tell her I'm done. I'm starting to reach a breaking point. I figured she would start to let up a little by now?

byjove when we i first started nursing the new baby my nipples were sore and it was hard to nurse. I started limiting nursing time by singing a song with dd, then counting down from 5 and saying. All done! She took to that pretty well. This week she’s actually been stopping before the song is over. It’s all mixed emotions for sure.
