Weeks pregnant: 19w2d, since my due date got pushed back 4 days Baby is the size of a: Heirloom tomato FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Pink Appointments: Fetal echo and growth scan on Oct 22 Symptoms: I feel mostly fine physically, but not great mentally. So so exhausted and feeling weepy/down. Milestones: Almost halfway there! Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm over pregnancy, truly. I just want my baby at the end. GTKY: Do you have any pets? No pets here. We sometimes take care of my parents' dog when they travel. She found being a "big sister" quite an adjustment! She was used to getting all the attention LOL. ETA pic: {Spoiler}

Weeks pregnant: 18+4
Baby is the size of a: artichoke
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: secret
Appointments: anatomy scan tomorrow!
Symptoms: Growing tummy, getting hard to bend/move/get up and down! Feeling more movement. Sleeping well, tired but don't usually need a nap. Eating a lot! Gained at least a pound this week. Spotting off and on, but only very little, which is a blessing.
Milestones: Halfway between BFP and scheduled C-section! Now that I'm feeling better, we've gone to church the past couple Sundays instead of watching live at home. Baby apparently loved the music this weekend - they were dancing around in there so much we could see my tummy move a bit!
Rants/Raves/Vents: My uncle's wife (she's close to our age and doesn't like to be called "aunt") offered to host a baby shower with my mom - yay! But my mom (in her typical fashion) acted like it was rude, ridiculous, and impossible for me to want it scheduled the first half of December since that's the only time my sister will be in town. Both because it's too early, and be because apparently it's rude to invite people to a shower in the same month they'll be buying holiday presents. It's early 3rd trimester (I'll be about 29 weeks) - is that really too early? And is December really a shower no-no? It would be about 25 aunts/cousins and 5 close girlfriends invited. I am totally open to hearing it's not a good idea - just don't believe my mom!
GTKY: Do you have any pets? We are looking for a new home for my darling ringneck dove (the star of my avatar), since he currently occupies the second bedroom, so that is bittersweet. We also have a 2 year old shihtzu/bichon frise mix (teddy bear dog), my first dog and a concession to DH but now I love him more than DH does. Because DH had major back surgery when we got him, he is house-trained, not outdoor-trained - meaning he potties on a special turf mat in the kitchen rather than being taken outside every time - and we're trying to figure out how to make that work safely with a LO in the house.

sunshiney , no it's not ridiculous or weird. I had my shower soon after Christmas to accommodate visiting family that couldnt' have made it otherwise. And 29 weeks is a completely normal time to have a shower!

sunshiney as a mom of two December kids, I don’t think it’s rude or weird at all. It’s about you and the baby, not other people 🙄

Have started the grunting when bending over/picking things up and DS2 (21 months) has started mimicking/making fun of me which cracks me up. Milestones: Rants/Raves/Vents: GTKY: Do you have any pets? Weeks pregnant: 19+4
Baby is the size of a: Hedgehog
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Finding Out
Appointments: A/S next week! I think I'm more excited just to see this baby than I am to find out the sex. It seems like movement has decreased a lot in the last couple weeks and it makes me nervous, even though I can find the heartbeat easily with our doppler.
Symptoms: My back. It's getting tired and sore more quickly now. Nausea is pretty much gone except first thing in the morning while I brush my teeth and then sometimes in the car. Hip pain is starting to increase, too, along with insomnia and restless leg.
Milestones: Almost half baked! I have no idea how October got here so quickly.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Guys. I'm really struggling with sex. Like, I always think I want it until H so much as kisses me and then I'm like, nope, don't want any intimacy whatsoever besides cuddling on the couch. H cleaned up a bunch of the house while I made dinner and I wanted to say thank you with sex because I know he misses it but omg. It took everything I had not to push him away. I'm so frustrated by it!
GTKY: Do you have any pets? A border collie cross named Callie and a cat named HarleyQuinn. This is the shortest pet post I've ever made... :/

Weeks pregnant: 21 Baby is the size of a: Banana FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM Team: 💙 Appointments: Nothing this week Symptoms: Feeling pretty great all things considered. Milestones: First awkward stranger belly rub. Lots of kicks daily. Rants/Raves/Vents: I am starting to feel really strange about this really and actually happening. Loss Mentioned I realized this will be my third Halloween/Thanksgiving pregnant in a row. I am having a lot of feelings about that and having a hard time separating this pregnancy from the past two. GTKY: Do you have any pets?: So many! I have two dogs, two barn cats, 7 goats, 6 cows including a milk cow, and 20+ chickens.

Rants/Raves/Vents: pregnancy is hard lol I’m only 22 weeks and feel like a whale

sunshiney I think a baby shower in December is perfectly fine! thelittleredm I totally understand how you feel. I haven’t been into it this entire time honestly. I just don’t feel like myself. But I’ve been making effort at least once a week. It’s tough.

strawberrykiki, I actually feel fine about how I look. Maybe because I'm so awful at loosing the baby weight? Lol I know that was a huge problem for me the second time around (H was gone most of the first pregnancy) but I actually think I'm looking less awful this time.

Bonus points for bloat, blump, bump pics 😊
Weeks pregnant: 20
Baby is the size of a: banana
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: pink
Appointments: October 17th for regular checkup
Symptoms: sore nipples/breasts, BH/RLP, feeling large
Milestones: Halfway today! DD felt her kick for the first time today too and watching her face light up was priceless.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Pretty sure we’ve settled on a first name. It’s also great that I’m feeling her move everyday. It’s reassuring and my favorite part of pregnancy.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? One dog, he’s a beagle/pointer mix and he’ll be 8yo on the 10th of this month. He’s our big baby.

@amc you are on the ball with the crib transition! I’m over here trying to find another crib. DNW to take DS2 out...ever 😭😭😭. I literally moved DS1 to the toddler bed two days before DS2 was born.

We need to change that bloat/blump line next week—everyone has beautiful baby bumps now, no bloat in sight! ❤️
Weeks pregnant: 23+2
Baby is the size of a: Barbie doll/bunch of grapes/grapefruit (that would be a record-setting grapefruit)
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: green
Appointments: my 24 week checkup is on Friday. This is the first week in a while that I haven’t had multiple OB visits for my blood pressure.
Symptoms: a little bit of heartburn is probably the only real pregnancy-related symptom. Unfortunately my BP meds are giving me lots of unpleasant side effects (nausea, light headedness, shortness of breath) but I guess those aren’t really symptoms.
Milestones: so excited about reaching viability later this week!
Rants/Raves/Vents: I gave my notice at work on Friday so now I am trying to transition my cases as un-stressfully as possible between now and the 12th. The fact that I get to do it mostly from home in sweats definitely will help.
Also my sister is getting married on Sunday. I’m excited but a little nervous about what the travel and excitement will do to me physically. These meds are no joke.
Also I probably should start writing my MOH speech one of these nights 😬
GTKY: Do you have any pets? Nope.

Weeks pregnant: 19+3 Baby is the size of a: mango FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM Team: Girl Appointments: Next week for a/s Symptoms: some nausea still occasionally but no biggie. Nesting like crazy I suppose, though it would be happening even if it isn't nesting instinct because I just can't stand the idea of going another few years with this quantity of stuff and piles around my house. It is out of control and I'm so overwhelmed. Milestones: Nothing of note Rants/Raves/Vents: It's been so busy, especially the last several days and I've barely felt baby, if at all. I feel guilty for not stopping to take the time to try but the movements are also not easily discernible yet unless I'm really calm and focused and life is just not allowing that right now. Wondering if I have an anterior placenta again too. GTKY: Do you have any pets? I have lots of allergies! So nope. DH would like a dog but I can't take care of another living creature right now, even if it was hypoallergenic. Also would be a cost we can't swing right now as we travel a lot, and cost aside it isn't fair to the pet to board it all the time.

Weeks pregnant: 20
Baby is the size of a: Banana
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Finding out this week!
Appointments: AS and regular appointment Friday!
Symptoms: I'm so over the continued nausea and food aversions!!!! Reflux, RLP, back pain.
Milestones: Over half way there!Starting to tell more people IRL.
Rants/Raves/Vents: My anxiety has been high again lately and I'm scared they will find something wrong at the AS. I worry because I haven't felt tons of movement but I know it might be placenta placement. I want so much to enjoy this pregnancy but I still feel bad most days and my anxiety won't chill out!
GTKY: Do you have any pets? None currently.

Ok....I typed all this out once (while I was still at work earlier) and then my computer had a meltdown and wouldn't let me do anything. I'm trying again!
Weeks pregnant: 20+4
Baby is the size of a: paper airplane!
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: finding out
Appointments: had my regular OB appointment yesterday, and we go to the perinatal specialist next week for the anatomy scan
Symptoms: nothing major, but I'm already at that stage where I feel like a whale and can't easily turn myself over in bed at night
Milestones: over halfway!
Rants/Raves/Vents: I had to do a 24-hour urine catch this weekend so my doctor could get a baseline protein level, so that was super fun. I had preeclampsia with my DD, so I'm glad my doctor is monitoring it well, but I'm still anxious about it.
GTKY: Do you have any pets? Nope! DH is allergic to basically everything, and besides this baby, I'm not inviting any other living things into my house that I'll have to take care of!
