Hi! I missed last week due to vacation but I'm back.
Weeks pregnant/Due date: 11 + 5 / April 17th
Baby is the size of a: plum
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: We got our blood work back last week and it's a boy! Team blue!
Appointments: October 18th
Symptoms: Insane sense of smell, and I'm craving red meat.
Milestones: Second tri this week!
Rants/Raves/Vents: I met with my doctor last week and she said while I have a lot of time to decide, I should start thinking about whether I want to try for a VBAC or schedule a repeat c-section. My daughter was breech so I never went into labor. Has anyone had a VBAC? I'm not sure what I'd like to do yet.

jewelsofthenile the size of baby never makes much sense to me, lol! @ges072115 I haven't had a vbac but muy daughter was also breech and I told my Dr this time I'm all about another CS. Personally I'm more terrified of a vaginal birth than I was the first time (😂😂) but my CS experience was a really good one. Plus selfishly I'm a planner and am looking forward to scheduling it 🙈

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 15w4d / March 21
Baby is the size of a: Box of crayons
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue 💙
Appointments: Thursday for weekly fetal tones, but this week with my OB instead of a nurse.
Symptoms: I'm feeling a lot better but once a week or so I get hit with a wave of nausea/sickness that I'm not really a fan of. I'm pretty positive I've been feeling him a lot more too.
Milestones: I guess being "out" in public is a milestone? A lot of people have known for the last few weeks but now it seems like everyone does, and it almost surprises me still when someone will bring it up. My aunts on one side found out yesterday in our group chat too which is probably better than awkwardly seeing if it came up when we're all together this weekend, lol.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I've been waking up early in the AM lately and having a hard time falling back to sleep, which is annoying. This morning it started at 3am and I never really slept solidly after that, just a lot of dozing.

pambee, I had a pretty good experience with my first c-section as well. I think I'm leaning towards a repeat. It is nice having an exact date on the calendar (as long as the baby doesn't decide to come early!)

It is nice having an exact date on the calendar (as long as the baby doesn't decide to come early!) Yes, exactly haha. And to be clear, I'm not against vbac in general and if that is yours or anyone's decision I think that's great. It's just such a personal decision, and I know there are risks with both. I'm just more comfortable with what I'm more familiar with! If you aren't sure I'd ask your Dr to talk out the process and risks of both before making a decision just so you have all the info, if s/he hasn't already too! Along with personal experiences, because I'm all about that.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 11+ 3
Baby is the size of a: Brussels sprout
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Pink! (Am I still the only one??)
Appointments: 10/17 but I’m planning to go soon for a HB check to ease my mind
Symptoms: I jinxed it, they all came back. With an added bonus of random vomiting
Milestones: I officially have a fetus! And only 3 more PIO shots to go
Rants/Raves/Vents: I miss my digestive system. I just want to eat! And enjoy eating! I also hate that 1st trimester is so rough, but you have no physical indications that people need to be nice to you. I want to wear a sign that says “I’m pregnant. Please let me cut you in line for the bathroom before I puke on you!” Or “Please take the toddler out of the house without me and let me lay on the couch in misery in peace.”

Symptoms: doing okay, I cleaned and cooked this past weekend so that was a first for awhile poor H. I got sick today but I almost think it was nerves leading to appt.
Milestones: 10 weeks!
Rants/Raves/Vents: heard the heart beat today. And it was nice to have the doctor walk in and like all my other visits so far they start off with “so fifth pregnancy...” just stings I was happy with how she was regarding the losses and any complications with my DD

I’ll be honest I don’t think I’d be into it if it was girl clothes for the third time (I mean I’d still awwww over the sentimental ones but that’s it) but it feels so new and exciting getting “boy” clothes! This is extra silly of me because I primarily buy neutrals especially for babies. Whatever! I’m excited.

Even when I was shopping for E as a baby I would wistfully look at the boys section and all the cute outfits. I'm not into graphics tees/shirts with sayings on them but little suspenders and joggers and pocket shirts and and... I can't. Too much cuteness. I never liked the dresses for E either so I thought a lot of her outfits were boring.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 13+3 / April 6
Baby is the size of a: Peach
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: Green
Appointments: 10/22
Symptoms: Weird dreams, now getting up 4-5 times/night to pee, it's ridiculous
Milestones: 2nd tri!!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Has anyone dealt with an anterior placenta? The google responses I find range from it's no big deal to OMG I never felt the baby kick, the person doing my sonogram said it normally just takes a week or two longer to feel it but not sure if that's totally accurate or what to expect.

bex15 I had an anterior placenta with E and it was no big deal. It did take longer to feel her (it was after 20 weeks before I really could, and another month or so before H could feel on the outside) and the kicks were never as strong as what others described, but it wasn't an actual issue for anything.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 16 wks 3, march 16th
Baby is the size of a: Philippine Tarsier
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: ttm
Team: finding out oct 30th!
Appointments: regular appt in a couple weeks
Symptoms: waking up a lot and tossing and turning all night
Milestones: felt the baby for the first time! It was so strong I swore I should be able to feel it on the outside. I think the baby moved now because I just feel little ones really low but I will take the little reminders that they are doing well in there.
Rants/Raves/Vents:My youngest has a cold again...so I was up a lot of the night in between my normal wake ups and her coughing and upset from a stuffy nose. Hoping she will nap today so I can too!

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 15w2d, March 3rd eviction at the latest.
Baby is the size of a: 2 apples (twins)
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM/TTM
Team: Double blue 💙💙
Appointments: Next tues for an ultrsound and checkup
Symptoms: Count me in the getting up to pee club. Already 1-2 times per night. I don't really drink much past 6:30 pm, so I don't understand it. TMI but it will be like, a lot of pee volume. Does it take awhile for you body to make pee? Also, tired due to wakeups. So, so tired.
Milestones: Full bump now!
Rants/Raves/Vents: I am already tired of people asking if twins run our families, even after explaining that identical twins are spontaneous, etc. No, it doesn't matter about my husband's side of the family. He only contributes sperm anyway! There are thousands of those!
The only thing that runs in families goes through women because there is a tendancy to release 2 eggs that gets passed down for fraternal twins. But not identical.
Also tired of people asking if they were a surprise.
I'm obviously crabby, lol (I will blame lack of sleep and politics)

orangehibiscus Wahoo for 2nd tri!! bex15 I had an anterior placenta. It wasn’t an “issue” really, but I did have trouble at times getting my kick counts. I went in for a lot of non-stress tests to ease my mind.

Thank you jacks! I have an anterior placenta too bex15. I have no advice for kicks, etc since I’m in the same boat, but I can’t wait to feel this baby move. Yesterday, it felt like my uterus twitched or something like that. It felt almost like a bubble popped, but with an anterior placenta, that couldn’t have been baby. I have no idea. I don’t know what I’m “supposed” to be feeling anyways!
