So I'm going to be in the market for a new computer soon. Mine is nearing 10 years old and I built it myself so I'm having a lil bit of trouble saying goodbye. I really just need it for day to day office stuff and I need it to run sims 3 at least. All my stuff has always been PC and I'm not interested in macs. Does anyone have any recommendations for hardware or specific kits?

Like I like AMD processors and Asus motherboards, any reason I should be expanding my horizons?

pianoloveHi, I'm almost a month late to this. I'm running an Intel i7 processor, ASRock motherboard, GeForce GTX 1070 for graphics, totally happy with all of those. That said, I'm a heavy duty gamer and run AAA games on ultra quality, soooo this is probably more than you need. I was too lazy to start looking up and putting together a parts list from nothing, so I literally googled part lists for gaming PCs and used that as a starting point. No regrets.

H says for what you want it for you should be good. If you do decide to build a gaming machine I can hook you up with all the answers though. H just got done building his dream machine, its only gonna cost about $3000 lol.
