I just finished making my sisters ‘advent calendar’ that has 30 presents counting down the days until her 30th birthday. It looks so cute and I’m so happy with it! That sounds so cute and expensive! Most of it are little things (nailpolish, minipainting made by the kids, birthday sash, chocolate, Starbucks gift card etc.). My sister is flying in for ds’ birthday and one bag contains a spa date with the three sisters and one contains a gold plated necklace with her initials, which happened to be the same as my kids’. So it wasn’t to bad!  |

I've been waiting for almost an hour. 3 phone calls later, they finally got his Rx to the pharmacist. I love the boys' pediatrician but somehow the office staff botches every single Rx. We may be looking for a new pediatrician.

(I am thinking you do quite a bit at home, but maybe I'm misremembering) We don’t speak English at home, I read to ds in English every now and then, but not as often as I’d like. He can count till 10, knows colors, a ton of animals and a few small sentences, but that is about it. It is neither of our first language and it somehow feels a tad pretentious to raise the kids bilingual because of that. As for me, I love English, you can say things way more eloquently than in Dutch. It did most my studies in English and both Dh and I read 90% of our books in English. ETA as for the labels, I just thought they where so fun! |

Apple picking was a success except T coughed nonstop. He said he has no energy for soccer so H just took DD to her game and we are skipping his soccer class. Later we have to get DS a new hockey helmet. After his injury last week, H looked his up and it’s not well rated so we are going to buy a better one. Then I promised T he can decorate for Halloween.

I need to get on the soup bandwagon as well. I really only make chicken and dumpling soup or cream of potato. I’d really like to make a copycat version of Olive Garden’s pasta fagioli.

My SIL made a crockpot version of Pasta fagioli a few years ago and it was good. I had never had it before, so hers was my first try at that particular soup. |

Birthday party was.....chaotic. it was in a small room off a Lego shop. The kids made cars to race, got to build 2 people to keep, then had cake.
Cadence's haircut is....very blunt. The woman was very nice, but talked more than she cut, and not to Cadence, to me. I'll wait and see how it looks after a shower and normal brushing, but I may trim it a bit. We'll see.
Now we're home and I took some Excedrin. It's just me and the girl tonight. We'll probably do pizza and a movie, but I refuse to watch Frozen for the millionth and one time. .... we'll probably watch Frozen 😬

E and I went grocery shopping. Then C went to work and LO brought out his terror side.
Also used Target’s drive up service again. Love it!!

Took the little ones to the trail this morning while Atticus bummed around on the couch with Pete.
Attempts to organize my closest were unsuccessful because P is on a nap Strike.
We just took X for a haircut and many tears were shed, but there was no vomit.

Hi hi - got home from our quick trip. Wedding was great, but was weird that we barely saw the bride (which is normal at a wedding), but more just disappointed that the bachelorette was cancelled in June which is normally my fav part of close friends weddings. Anywho, glad to be home and trying to write a discussion post tonight. Busy day heading to my parents tomorrow to shop their houses for furniture..guess we need to tell j we are moving before my parents say something.

Dh and I had a nice date night. We went to a delicious seafood restaurant on the water. Probably the last lobster of the season. Now Dh is sleeping and I’m on the couch with Max catching up on bad tv.

Normally I would ignore him when he gets this bad however today he was trying to rub one of his open sores on me and other things. Not an accident since he had to lift up a pj pant leg to do it. I cannot have E or I catch anything. Not when we are so close to being over everything. |

Colin woke up about 20 minutes ago to pee and he wasn't warm to the touch!! I'm still going to give him Tylenol or Motrin today for the sorry throat, but it's great if his fever is already subsiding. He fought with his brother a couple times after dinner last night, which probably means he's feeling better, LOL.
