Yes. At this point, whether or not he committed sexual assault shouldn't matter (well, of course it should, but I think you know what I mean since that can't be proven *eye roll*), but just his decorum while answering questions should be the nail in the coffin. That asshole cannot answer a single question. He's been belligerent, rude, raging, out of control, emotional, losing his temper, etc. That alone shows he doesn't have the level-headed demeanor to hold a position on SCOTUS. For all of those who rail on that she might be lying and he has not been found guilty I want to scream in their faces, "This is the sack of shit you're defending." He is a judge and can't even behave like an adult yet you think he's cut out for SCOTUS? On what basis? Because Trump wants him?" I rage.

This exactly. And honestly, most of those GOP senators have made it pretty obvious that even if it is true, they don’t really care because it was “high school” shenanigans. So if you don’t care about that (you shitheads) can you at least take into account how he is conducting himself and if that’s the kind of person who belongs on scotus?

Also when Kennedy ended by “do you swear to god you didn’t do it” 🙄🙄🙄🙄 I thought maybe he’d ask him to pinky promise next.

I'm not on FB but I couldn't even avoid the obtuse and/or sexist comments on freaking IG. Some were clearly people who weren't actually watching/keeping tabs themselves and clearly get their "news" from Fox. Others were spouting false equivalence, ignoring the impact of BK's privileged background and the number of people who've come out to denounce him as a violent drunken high schooler/college student. Not to mention the rage and partisanship he displayed should disqualify him on their own. There are no good points on both sides - there is right and wrong. I am so incredibly disappointed in a lot of people I used to think we're somewhat decent and/or intelligent.

From one pale friend to another- aloe like crazy and take a day away from the sun.

I’m also burnt. C has his first ever sunburn too. His poor cheeks are red and he has dry broken skin. We are a sad group. I’ve never been so happy to be in overcast New England weather again!

We got home around 5:30. Laundry is all caught up but not folded. C is sleeping and is going to school tomorrow. Dh and I are off and resting. I’m actually going to miss sleeping with C tonight.

I'm still recovering from the angry white man yelling this afternoon. My cube neighbor and I were both watching at work and commenting out loud, like wtf is going on?! Aside from allegations, his demeanor is not stable enough to be on the SCOTUS. I am pretty sure he did it and was blacked out and doesn't remember considering he talked incessantly about how much he likes beer. Or he does remember and is lying. Basically I believe her.

We are off to the mitten for a wedding tomorrow for one of my college besties, I'll wave wineallthetime, we are heading to lunch near you and quick memory lane lap before heading to the wedding.

I got a call at about 4pm yesterday to pick up M because he said his head hurt and didn’t feel good. He seemed fine but a little off when I got there. Came home, gave him some Motrin and he was fine the rest of the night. He came to our room at about 2am with a fever and said his head was hurting again. We gave him Tylenol and he slept ok. Not sure what’s up with him. I think the headache thing is weird. Any one else ever had a kid with a low grade fever and a headache? I’ll probably call the pedi to find out if they want to see him.

Atticus gets them once in awhile. I pump him full of fluids, offer Tylenol, and encourage lots of rest and he usually feels fine once the meds kick in.

Hope he feels better soon.

I think S has another EI. She woke up crying earlier, I got her back to sleep and she woke up crying again a little bit after that. She doesn’t have a fever but I dosed her with Motrin and scheduled an appt for the morning. She just had one like a month ago...and a month before that. I’m going to have to talk to her doctor to find out if he thinks she will need tubes again, I hope not.

I'm okay.  I had no idea it would be this hard.

Evie doesn't understand.  Last night she was eating cheese cubes and asked if she could give one to Luna, it was the first time she said anything about her.  I had to tell her she wasn't home, that she had been very sick and we took her to the vet and she didn't get to come home with us because she went to heaven.  This morning she asked me if I was going to pick her up and bring her home.  I had to explain again that she wouldn't be coming home to us.

H is about as upset as I am.  We both find ourselves doing things that we always had done, but aren't necessary anymore.  Like before bed, I'd always let Paige and Luna out, then give them a treat and wait for Luna to slowly eat hers, then pick her up and put her in our bed.  I actually looked around the bed for her last night after giving Paige her treat.  H said when he got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, he shuffled his feet like he always did, since she was deaf, she didn't hear you coming.

It's really fucking hard.

The last time they did an ear culture they switched us from cefdinir to Bactrim, too.
