Wtf seriously tgrimes ???? They don't sell beer/liquor in grocery stores here either. But that makes zero sense. They may refuse to sell to a 20 year old that strolled in with a 16 year old (because suspicion that the alcohol is for the 16 year old), but an adult with their small child absolutely would not be refused. Yup. I was born in OK and my mom said when she was pregnant with me that they wouldn't even allow her into the liquor store with my dad. Ridiculous.

I got some serious side-eyes when I bought a bottle of wine 7 months pregnant (to bring to my mom's dinner), but no one said a thing lol.

You do not want to know how much wine I bought while I was pregnant. Especially when my parents came to visit....

I bought some warm weather 18 month clothes for M for the end of the summer. Tried an outfit on her today and it fits so much better than all of her 12 month stuff. GDI. M is so like DS was...18m stuff by summer, especially rompers. I have maybe one or two outfits from him in sizes 6m-12m..guess it's good I have a girl now so I can do all the shopping. And bottom teeth are much cuter than top teeth..

danib just reminded me that I forgot to tell y'all about what happened to me in OKC! They don't sell beer/wine in the grocery stores, you have to buy it at a liquor store. So my sister goes into the grocery store to grab a few things and I take Hayden next door to the liquor store. I pick up a couple bottles of wine and head to the counter. They wouldn't sell it to me because I had Hayden with me. WTF? They should have offered you a BOGO deal instead. I mean, if anyone is deserving of wine it's the mothers with young children. Come on OKC!

It took my mom everything she had to keep me from repeatedly falling off the growth chart and here I am with a baby that is almost half my size in height at 7.5 months.

sophiegrace He's been doing great! It doesn't look as swollen anymore but he still has the stitches. Guess we'll see what the urologist says later. Also the pediatrician is very happy with how his head is improving and said 100% we'll be able to avoid the helmet. I'm so excited about that! kleigh I have nothing to add but I'm just laughing at your comments about your MIL. Cheshie6 C is still only 2-3 hours of wake time. Glad to hear it's pretty normal. tgrimes That's crazy!! Is it an underage person thing or them being judgey assholes thing?

Hi friends! Hope you all had a nice Father's Day weekend! The children and I flew up to Maine yesterday so we're here now and having a relaxing, lazy day. B has flown quite a bit since his newborn days, but this was Caroline's first plane trip--and she did great! Made lots of friends and scored us some extra Biscoff cookies thanks to flirting with the flight attendant

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk They eventually even out. Apparently having to leave the kids in the car to run into the liquor store is what several people have been complaining about!

Omg I hate the "we did this" argument. You also smoked while pregnant, didn't use carseats, etc etc etc. We KNOW better now. God my in laws keep saying "how did our kids survive?". Fuck off with this. A lot of kids didn't survive which is why we now know to not do these things.

**snip tgrimes That's crazy!! Is it an underage person thing or them being judgey assholes thing? I have no idea. It reminds me of this though: This is common place in WI. Hell a kid can drink if they are with their parent (although obviously this is up to the dicretion of the bartender). Also fun fact in wisconsin if you get married before 21 your spouse becomes a pseudo legal guardian and if you bring your marriage certificate is legal for bartenders to serve you. Again, up to the discretion of the bartenders, but legal. Now if you are drunk and leave the company of your parent or spouse you can get a ticket, but stay with them and your good.

This has happened to me so much. I don't actually think I have used a single item of clothing I bought ahead of time. Either turned out to be wrong size, wrong season, or impractical for real life. Will not be buying "future" clothes. Also I can't believe M is in 18mo!

Getting ready for appointment #2, put the baby down so I can wash bottles real quick and of course he falls asleep. Now there's also a storm rolling through and my dog is freaking out. I have like 5 minutes to get out of here! And I hope the appointment is quick because I'm realizing that there's about 10 minutes for me to get ready and leave again for our friends house. What the hell was I thinking with today??

Re clothes sizes, my mil yesterday said she almost bought 18 month winter stuff for C. I just laughed and said please don't buy anything two seasons ahead right now. He'll be in 18 month by the end of summer for sure and I have no idea where he'll be in the winter (or when winter will even be here based on how things have been lately).

If for some reason I've picked him up and he hasn't had the 3rd nap, I immediately put him down for a short one when we get home. On the weekends, it all depends on how long his naps end up being. Saturday he took 3 good naps. Sunday he had 4 because his 2nd nap was only 20 minutes.

He took a 3 he nap this morning though and we've been stretching his night awake time. He did take a mini nap this morning. He woke up at 5am and we left him to play in his crib and he fell back asleep

sarahwithanh AB does naps every 2ish hours. Sometimes that means he takes 4 before bedtime (up 5:30ish to 6:30ish). Both babies take their first nap at 2 hours from waking. Then AB stays at about every 2 hours. AV does about every 3 and only takes another 2 naps. ETA almost all naps are 30to 40 mins. Good day is a 1 hour nap
