Wonky Wednesday

This entire week has seemed wonky to me.  How is everyone today?

mwhip Same, for some reason (I don't know what) my days are off, or something.

Dropping B at preschool, then C and I might head to Home Goods to see if they still have the throw I spotted on Monday. Then home to do laundry, yay.

Morning. Dd’s sleep is back to being terrible at best and I’m so tired. Took the kids to the forest this morning and am now tried to find something to bring to the school naming ceremony on Saturday. For now I’m thinking minicupcakes, I just have no idea when to bake them...

I got M off to school and about to go in to work. I’m only working until just after lunch so we can trade off M2 and he can go to work.

Yesterday, I started putting M2 on waiting lists for other daycares. I don’t want to have to go through this process, but I hate that every other week he sick with something. I think it may be worth it to look into switching him.

Had an asthma attack this morning due to an impromptu tickle war with Cadence. Worth it.
My breathing has been kind of jacked up lately, so the attack wasn't a surprise.

Sunny41 She doesn't come around much anymore. She came Monday evening, but we were eating dinner, so we didn't answer the door. Her timing is very bad. Since she hasn't been coming over, I haven't made it a priority to meet her parents.

Guys, my heart is breaking for my girl! Yesterday she could walk fine. Today she can’t walk again. Just keeps trying and falling. Then she had a long seizure that required emergency meds. We are second guessing our trip to Fiji at this point. Supposed to leave in 2 weeks. But I don’t want to go if she’s still struggling. We are going to give the meds a few days to see if they help before we make a final decision.

I'm so sorry lfig. Did the doctors say how long it would take to see a difference from the medication? Who was going to come watch her while you were on your trip?

Morning! Currently in the drive thru at Starbucks. H is at school and I’m killing time. I have a chiro appt in 20 mins and the office is right by sbux so I’m actually glad for a long line. H is at school and S will be coming with me to the appt.

They didn’t say and I didn’t think to ask. But I called this morning to talk to the neurologist and that’s on my list of questions. Just waiting for a call back.

My parents are the ones watching her while we are gone if we go.

We have trip insurance so we may have some options without loosing too much money if we decide to cancel.

I totally understand if y'all want to cancel the trip but I'd hate for you to do it.  Are your parents comfortable giving her meds and know how to respond with her seizures?

I'm sorry lfig, that's a tough decision. At least if you do go, you know you are leaving her with people that she loves and will take excellent care of her. But I understand your hesitation.

I hope she improves a great deal over the next few days so you can go without worry.

I dropped Josie off at preschool, and Charlie and I ran to the grocery store to pick up snacks and then to Home Goods because I wanted to get more fall decor. I love what I have for Halloween, but for the time between November 1 and Thanksgiving, my mantle always felt a little weak to me.

I drove MH crazy this morning talking about Christmas trees. We have the space this year to put up a beautiful tree in the living room and then a smaller tree that can be more colorful and fun in the glass room. I am beyond excited about it, but, Atlanta, it wasn’t the conversation he wanted to have at 6:15! 🤷🏻‍♀️
Also, I watched Manifest last night, and I wasn’t thrilled with it. I’m going to give it another couple of episodes before I make the final decision.

Yes, they are. It’s just such an internal struggle for me. If something happens while we are gone, and she ends up in the hospital or something I will feel terrible not being there with her, like we just ran off for a fun vacation while she’s struggling.

I found the throw that I wanted for my front room; they'd had 3 and were down to 1, so I'm glad I went today. Not sure on the color, though--looked great with my fabric in the store but i am now second-guessing it, just like I do everything for this particular room. ARGH.

C is supposed to be down for a nap (I tried transferring her to her crib after she fell asleep in the car) but I just heard her yell "OUT!" so guess that didn't work!
