I found the throw that I wanted for my front room; they'd had 3 and were down to 1, so I'm glad I went today. Not sure on the color, though--looked great with my fabric in the store but i am now second-guessing it, just like I do everything for this particular room. ARGH. Show us! Ha. Maybe I will start a poll  This room has just driven me bonkers...I don't want to spend $$$$$ b/c we are here for basically 19 more months, but at the same time my surroundings are very important to me and I can't just "let it go" (I'm sure DH wishes I could!) eta: I'm going to do the new one. The sun came out and the color is good! Plus it's more of a cable and I really like the texture over the smooth one I had previously. |

guster is that the show with the airplane that has been missing for years, but the passengers don't realize they were gone? The previews looked good, but I never remembered when it was going to start. I just started watching Dexter on Netflix last night. I'm pretty behind!

I will have to look into that. I saw a blogger comment recently that she gives any new show that she's on the fence over 3 episodes before making a final decision (particularly for stuff you can binge watch). I thought that was a good rule of thumb. |

guster, I watched This is Us last night. It's probably the only show I really try to watch in real time so I can avoid spoilers. I'll be interested to hear your opinions on it.

I finished watching ‘the sinner’ the other week. It was disturbing, with a slightly predictable and disappointing ending (can’t remember who said it, but you were right).

Just caught up with yesterday. CONGRATS cheeksmum! I’m so sorry to hear she is continuing to have problems lfig Poor sweet girl! I hope things get better and that you don’t have to skip your vacation. I watched Manifest last night too guster .... I think it has potential!! The long preview the released a few weeks ago made me want to watch. I lost interest in This is Us a while ago... I got bored. |

I need someone to remind me when new shows are starting, or when season premiers happen. I always forget, then don't want to jump in late. Like Survivor...when does that start? I feel like it has to be soon.

Ok, we're watching Manifest tonight, DH said he's been seeing previews and it looks good but he "didn't think I'd be interested". ??? nam2013 We watched Season 1 of the Sinner, really good! I was suspicious of the dad but didn't know how it was all going to play out. I think season 2 just started on AMC here. chrisy01 We ditched cable when we moved here and have been super happy with Sling. We save over $100/month over the cable we had in FL. If you find yourself missing out you might want to take a look. |
