Bonus points for bloat, blump, bump pics 😊
Weeks pregnant: 19
Baby is the size of a: Mango
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Pink!
Appointments: Check up mid October
Symptoms: peeing all the time, Braxton Hicks. Feeling pretty good overall
Milestones: Today marks the halfway point to full term for me! Woohoo!
Rants/Raves/Vents: We worked on painting a dresser for DD this weekend so we can move her dresser/changing table to the nursery and I really overdid it. I’m not good about listening to my body and relaxing when I want to get something done and I’m paying for it now.
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing about Fall? Personally I love everything about fall! The cooler weather, the leaves changing colors, Halloween festivities, Fall decorations, Thanksgiving, Jeans and hoodies. Everything! 🍁

Weeks pregnant: 18w6d
Baby is the size of a: Artichoke
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Pink
Appointments: A/S today! Feeling a little nervous.
Symptoms: Worsening hemorrhoids. Ugh!
Milestones: Regular movement now.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I've been really tired and I could use a lot more help than I'm getting. I'm disappointed in my family for not helping out, then telling me to take it easy, get lots of rest and that my health is the most important thing. I have an active toddler that doesn't sleep much and a full-time job. Rest isn't possible unless someone takes something over for me, which isn't happening so STFU. Sorry, I needed to vent.
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing about Fall? I'm loving everything right now, but especially the cooler weather.

Weeks pregnant: 20w5d
Baby is the size of a: banana
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: blue
Appointments: had a good anatomy scan last Wednesday. Baby boy looks perfect!
Symptoms: heartburn, peeing a lot, back ache, cramped feeling in my chest... I’m just feeling uncomfortable and it feels too early for that!
Milestones: over halfway there now!
Rants/Raves/Vents: MH’s family is giving us a hard time about a baby shower. They want us to fly to NE for one. I would love that but the expense, time off work, and traveling while pregnant made me decide no. We’ve already been to visit twice since I found out I was pregnant. Now I feel guilty like I’m ungrateful for them offering to throw us a shower.
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing about Fall? Well no cooler temps here in FL yet but I’m enjoying fall food and fall smells in our house anyway. I can’t wait for thanksgiving good!

Weeks pregnant: 17+4 Baby is the size of a: tall as a Hershey bar (whaa?! when did that happen?) FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM Team: secret Appointments: anatomy scan next Tuesday Symptoms: feeling unwieldy and lumbering! had lots of energy this weekend, so fatigued this morning. Orgasms are mind-blowingly intense, that is fun. Milestones: starting reading aloud to baby, supposedly they may be able to hear by now. Rants/Raves/Vents: DH said it's becoming much more real for him, probably because I am looking more pregnant! GTKY: What’s your favorite thing about Fall? Everything! Cooler weather, the smells, sweaters and cute boots, apple picking this this weekend was lovely. Could do without the allergies, though.

I had my AS this morning and they saw a marginal cord insertion. Baby is growth-restricted. They said it would be more borderline according to my ovulation-based due date, so they are talking with my OB to see if they can move it according to the earlier ultrasound, which would give her another 3-4 days. Still, she's small. Anyone have experience with this?

He was small at my anatomy scan but not too far off the curve. I had extra monitoring and he ended up being born at 33w6d when my cord flow dropped off. He was a peanut at 3lbs10oz and 16.5inches. He spent 2 weeks in the NICU just to grow and learn how to feed. He is now a very healthy, averaged sized almost 6 yo. Do they plan to repeat a scan soon or refer you to high risk? Hopefully all is well and you will just require extra growth monitoring.

They will be taking over growth monitoring. It's once a month for now, more later if needed. They said it may require an "early" induction at 38 weeks, which is NBD obviously. It seemed like not necessarily a problem, only something to be watched for now.

Weeks pregnant: 18+2
Baby is the size of a: potato or bell pepper.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Pink
Appointments: Not for a couple weeks for A/S
Symptoms: Nothing much. DH was painting a bathroom this weekend and if I even get a whiff of the paint I start gagging repeatedly. I'm able to avoid it easily thankfully, but it never ceases to amaze me how our bodies know to avoid certain things while pregnant!
Milestones: excited to hit 20 weeks! Still hasn't sunk in that this is my last pregnancy though, I should be milking this more...
Rants/Raves/Vents: Started feeling a little bit of movement! It's early for me and rare because I'm rarely relaxing enough to feel it, but reassuring when I do. Definitely light and inconsistent but I'll take it.
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing about Fall? This particular fall, the cooler temperatures! So over heat and how draining it is. But I adore everything about fall, the foods, the clothes, the activities, etc.

strawberrykiki, you're not being unreasonable, that's expensive and hard for you. They could have coordinated it earlier with you during one of your other visits or had you postpone one of those visits to accommodate a later baby shower, too. For my first, my ILs offered to throw me a sip n' see a couple weeks after baby was born so they could all see the baby, in the fall, at my house. I politely declined. Do not want a million people descending on my infant child who has no immunity yet, during flu/cold season, at MY house that I would have to have clean to effectively throw myself a party. Apparently my denial upset them and that side of the family did nothing. Most didn't even acknowledge his birth; two aunts sent something in the mail, my MIL attended the traditional shower she was invited to thrown by my side of the family. *shrug* Is what it is. I had five baby showers for him in the end among our work, family, and friends, which was already excessive, and it was the right decision to decline that particular one. Hope they'll be more understanding for you than mine were!

Weeks pregnant: 18+4
Baby is the size of a: Sugar glider
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Finding out
Appointments: A/S Oct 8, check up the following week
Symptoms: Some nausea but not much since it's kept under wraps easily by eating correctly. Tired but not the same level of exhaustion as before. My lower back is definitely achy. I need to focus more on strengthening it, I think.
Milestones: None
Rants/Raves/Vents: Ummmm, nothing really. Just, you know, life.
GTKY: What’s your favorite thing about Fall? The International Balloon Fiesta! So many people, though. We usually watch from off field and meet up with my FIL when his balloon lands.

hrh thank you! I’m trying not to let it bug me. I did what was best for me and the baby and if that makes them upset then so be it.

Weeks pregnant: 19 + 2 Baby is the size of a: Gameboy FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Blue Appointments: 20-week US and OB appt on 10/3 Symptoms: This pregnancy has been so much different compared to DS. Food aversions are still going strong, and my morning nausea returned over the last few days. My belly button is already starting to stretch, so I started applying coconut oil. And I felt four distinct thumps the other night! Keep kicking, kiddo! Milestones: I’m pretty much halfway there! Especially if this nugget decides to arrive at 38 weeks like his brother. Where did the time go? Rants/Raves/Vents: My nearly-three-year-old has been running me ragged. I don’t understand how one person can have so much energy all. the. time. GTKY: What’s your favorite thing about Fall? Summer is over and it’s almost Christmas. 😊 I love decorating the house and getting out the fall-scented candles. Halloween isn’t usually my favorite, but seeing how excited DS is getting is making me more enthusiastic this year.

notagoddess I'm glad that your team is keeping a close eye on things and that they aren't terribly concerned. Still, the added stress is a bummer. My SIL had IUGR due to an issue with her placenta, and she was induced at 39 weeks with a 6ish pound baby who is perfectly healthy now. She only found out toward the end that there was a miscommunication regarding her due date by a few days, and that made a surprisingly big difference in the growth calculation.
