I just went to get in my car to go to the store to get stuff for beef stew, and the springs that open it are completely busted! I called around and the soonest someone can come is tomorrow at 10. Good thing we have a grocery store and DD’s store within walking distance, and it’s not raining. You can't get into your car?! That sounds like a nightmare to deal with. I'm sorry your plans are getting derailed.

H's snoring is driving me up a wall. He was just napping in his office down the hall and I could hear him so I closed the door. He keeps saying it's not his fault and there's nothing he can do about it. Yea there is; talk to a Dr., get a mouth guard to help keep your airway open, try breathe right strips, something. It's not every night but it's just loud enough that when he does it, I can't fall asleep. If nothing works after you at least try, then fine I'll except there's nothing you can do.

Have veggie soup on the stove for the week and lasagna prepped for dinner tonight!
Laid out all the clothes and blankets I got yesterday at the sprinkle plus all of DDs old stuff and I may be able to start a blanket boutique 😂

I’m at a baby shower right now with my H and kid. I’m so annoyed. $30 to park and the shower is from 1-4 so my whole day is wasted. Plus, I had to drive downtown and going home, I will be among the baseball game traffic. Who the hell throws a 3 hour shower in the middle of the day????? All you not yet pregnant folk - don’t do this. Your friends will hate you. Literally every single shower I’ve ever been to.

Literally every single shower I’ve ever been to. Lol. This. Really guys? kmkdI feel like it would have been so much better as a 11-1 thing. Get in, get out and then my Sunday wouldn’t be ruined. Also they served lunch, but not until almost 3! Wtf? I’m home now so I should be in a better mood once I get my comforts on and snuggle down on the couch with my book. The way god intended!

DS and I went apple and raspberry picking. Now he's at the dining room table growling because I made him do his homework. If we live thru homework, we're going to go to the pet store to replace the beta fish that jumped out of it's tank.

It’s just the schedule of probably every baby and bridal shower I’ve been to, and I’ve been to a lot. If it’s at a restaurant, that’s usually the time block they offer.

But the springs at the very top have snapped into three pieces, so there’s nothing holding the door and the rope is now useless, unfortunately. I called three places open 24/7, but they all told me Tuesday or Wednesday was the earliest available. I got lucky on call #4 because they can come out tomorrow morning.

I was wondering how you knew it was springs that wouldn't allow your car door to open and felt like a total dumbass, like I was missing something obvious.

My car is fine, just trapped in the garage. If it has ropes in it you can manually yank the ropes to open it and then pull it closed. I feel like there was a hand lock that moved ours from automatic to being hand operated. I had to do this when the power failed and when the motor went in ours.

We are very lucky that we can walk most places, and that MH doesn’t have a set schedule. He also has a house car available to him at the hotel, so he could take a Lyft there and then use the Escalade for as long as needed.

The biggest offense here is lunch at close to 3pm. I'd be so irritated if I showed up at noon/1pm and I didn't get fed until 3pm. No.

We got an invitation to a friends kids birthday party in a few weeks. It’s on a Saturday at 12:30. I can’t decide what to do. Either we go and my kid misses his nap (he is 2 and naps 12-3 every day without fail) and he is a nightmare later, or I stay home and SO goes to the party by himself (it’s his best friend, not mine).
I’m the opposite of breezy about his sleep schedule and he’s never missed a nap. So I’m already stressing about this decision. It’s probably not a big deal but naturally I’m blowing it out of proportion in my head.

willow I would stay home and send SO Same. I was pretty breezy about naps times too, but at that age and that time it would have been a no-go.
