Moved on to wine before we head to an Italian restaurant. This has been the longest day of drinking and I'm loving it.

I have a glass of rosé with dinner. We are having fish n chips for dinner with hush puppies. I love hush puppies.

I'm going to open a bottle of viognier. I had frozen custard earlier that was chock full of oreos and caramel so probably just one glass. A large glass though.

H is making dinner. I have exciting plans to mop and dust after dinner.

DS went to a pony riding party this morning, then we picked out his Halloween costume and then went grocery shopping. I am beat and will be ordering sushi for dinner

My mom is making my favorite spicy shrimp and chicken pasta. Going to stuff my face. They got B a new toy train and he is loving it. He also got like 3 other toys today. You’d think it was HIS birthday!

Went to a kid birthday party earlier at an indoor play place so the toddler is taking an extra long nap. I'm exhausted too so instead of getting anything done I'm having a g&t currently and watching Practical Magic to kick off the fall/Halloween season.

Dinner tonight will be caprese salad, steamed artichokes and mussles in a tomato garlic fennel sauce.

Hello. We have had a chill day and H and I are going to a hockey game tonight which should be fun.

The 3.75 year old gave me a detailed list of reasons why he doesn't want a baby brother. Everything that the 1.5 year old does that bugs him, basically. He was in real tears telling me he doesn't want any babies.

So yeah. That's fun to hear/deal with.

This is the first weekend in months we haven't had any real plans and it's so nice. D1 had swim class this morning then I took my time on a solo grocery shopping trip. My mom is coming over now to stay with the girls while we meet up with some friends for drinks and a movie.

Dh and I have been drinking boozy coffee and watching movies all afternoon. We just finished Upgrade (rented front amazon) and it was really good. Very smart and well done. If you like futuristic AI type movies I highly recommend it. NowI’m frying potatoes Togo with the pot of beans I made (DH is all about the carb sides with beans) and I think we are going to watch Jurassic World next and move on to gin and sodas.

I'm REALLY trying to just lay off booze for a few weeks so it's mellow here this afternoon/tonight.

The older kid should be beat when he gets home - soccer game this morning and he's been surfing with my H for the past 4 damn hours. The little one is zoning out watching Frozen.

Ok maybe I'll get a little bottle of vodka tonight. Dunno.

I ate some of the kids tortellini for dinner and I’m not satisfied. I need them to go to bed so I can tear the kitchen apart in search of something better.

I’m finishing up project runway on Hulu and plan on a beer and leftover pizza/wings for a late dinner after the big kids go to bed. I’m good with it.

We went to the museum of flight today for free museum day and DD loved it. We just scratched the surface of it because it's so big, thinking of getting a membership there because it's close and would be great on weekend days where we have nothing planned. Both kids are napping right now and I'm contemplating a drink.

This has been he longest week ever. Ds has had hand foot mouth. Dd has been a handful. Thank goodness we have a babysitter tonight and we’re headed out on a date to a fancy restaurant bc we have a gift card!

We had a friends murder mystery birthday party last night. I have been nursing a brutal red wine hangover all day today. DD And I napped together for 2 hours, so I managed to give H a break. He’s been a champ today letting me be lazy.

We’re trying to figure out what to do tomorrow cause we’re feeling guilty about the seriously low key day.
