We always have pretzels, dried fruit, nuts, chocolate chips, some kind of Kind or Lara bars, and regular nutri-grain bars. I make trail mix and granola with the ingredients we have on hand and there's always popcorn ready to be popped. Fresh fruit, hummus, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, some kind of cold cut or cured meat, and cheese in the fridge. It's all good , but you know how you get sick of your own stuff and other people's food always sounds better (is that just me?) Help me stock my kitchen -- What kind of snacks do you guys always keep in your house?

Cheese stick Pudding/fruit smoothies Lightly salted peanuts Cheeze its animal crackers gold fish yogurt covered pretzels lunchables
I know there is more, but these are staples in my kitchen and when we go shopping weekly, E asks if we need more.

I always forget about goldfish. Do you know that I had them for the very first time when Josie started her two-year-old program? It was never something in my house. Same thing with cheeze its and whatever the other one is called.

Right now, I keep water melon and pineapple cut up all the time. Matthew would eat an whole pineapple in one sitting if I let him. So I can always set out a plate of that and they both go to town on it. And I like to snack on it as well. I love cheese sticks and grapes as a snack. And those cuties.

We have so many because H eats the same snacks as a 3 year old...it's like shopping for 2 toddlers.

Water melon will last about 6 days if I cut it right when I buy it. Pineapple only a 3-4 days but it's normally gone within 2 if Matthew and my mom know it's there lol. I peel both before cutting so I get the majority of the "meat" of each fruit. And to utilize everything, put the core of the pineapple in a pitcher of water with some orange slices in the fridge for a half day and it's great "juice"

For example, canteloupe is usually 4-5 days but if it's really ripe probably only 2.

snoopmommymom, we just buy the store brand. Cadence also likes the little Babybel circle cheeses though.

E prefers the Cracker Barrel brand as well, but I buy the sharp cheddar for her (pepper jack for H). She always asks for a 'red cheese stick' because the packaging is red. I store the cheese in the bottom drawer of our fridge in a storage container with no lid, so they stand upright. She's tall enough she can open the fridge, open the drawer and get them herself.

I buy the Happy Farms brand from Aldi. I keep them in the bottom draw like mwhip, and she can grab one when she is hungry.

I've been buying gogurts & freezing them. M thinks she's getting a popcicle. I bought a big box of them at Costco and have had them in the freezer for months. H goes through phases when she wants them a lot or won't touch them.

Both Charlie and Josie will be eat plain Greek yogurt (which is mostly what we buy), but for a spoon less snack or in the car, I like the ease of a yogurt tube. The chobani brand has the most protein of most of the others, but still tons of sugar. I buy them anyway. Aside from doing it myself, has anyone seen plain Greek yogurt tubes?

Stonyfield doesn't have plain Greek yogurt but theirs has 5g sugar and 2g protein.

As for us, we do a lot of carb snacks. Bunny grahams, goldfish, club crackers, veggie straws, carrot sticks, string cheese, yogurt tubes, applesauce, fruit snacks, fruits, popcorn, and recently I bought H the clif kids bars which she seems to like. For S specifically I gave puffs, yogurt melts, pouches, gerber breakfast bars (like nutrigrain), and the things like this:

Both my kids go loco for manadarin oranges. Not cuties, but the canned kind. I think everything else I offer them has already been mentioned. They don't care about what brand of cheese I get. Right now we have Sargento.
