E has learned to get himself in a sitting position from laying down. So of course he slept like crap last night. Things were so much easier when he was a lump. LOL.

+1 to that feeling. I have SO Much to do today (organizing more items for the sale, cleaning, folding laundry) but I really just want to park myself on the couch. It's just the baby and I today.

Ds2 got up early-ish so I will actually have time to get out and run errands after his nap. I found a really pretty set of end tables that I'm going to use as night stands. I've been working on getting our bedroom into shape since we moved in four years ago and I love it now. Well at least the one wall and furniture that is done lmao. Our bedroom has always been last priority. Tomorrow is supposed to be "cooler" so I'm thinking I will take ds2 to the zoo for a walk. We have membership passes and it's a 10 minute drive. Can't go wrong. They have a couple new baby animals so I want to see them I also want to start walking again because I'm not thrilled about where the fat has settled on my body (but I'm not willing to cut wine or food I like lol).

Hello all! Iām off work now for a week! Woo hooo. I have so much to do today- I need to pick up my bridesmaid dress, pick up contact lenses, trade in old car seats and get new ones at target (is it weird that Iām sad about C growing out of his infant seat? š¢), then ds1 has a haircut at 3 and I have a nail appt at 4.
C took like 1 unassisted step from the couch to the coffee table this morning. Not sure if that ācountsā as walking but it was exciting and DH and I both witnessed it!

sarahandben108, I hope DD can do that soon, get to sitting! She's close. We went to a playground yesterday that has the rubber surface so she loved crawling around there and pulling up on stuff. She's currently playing with a ball of yarn. Cat baby. Have fun pootsen, enjoy your time off š grumpycat, I like walking, it's low commitment, but can definitely make a difference! You know a great place to get your steps in? Disney. Haha

pootsen, that counts! (and it wouldn't if you hadn't both been there to see it ) Enjoy your week off, its sounds busy in a fun way! I'm surprisingly peppy today. I was sure baby girl would wake up at 4am as she only had a bit over half her bottle last night but she slept through until 6.45! The top front teeth are out by a couple of millimeters so I think I'll skip the teething gel tonight as it's always a fight to get it in. I went to the gym at lunch, it's sunny and warm and it's almost weekend so today feels good

Today has already been hell and not even 9:30. I'm going to start a thread on sleep training.
I went to bed at 11 since I was working on foundation stuff. R got up at 1. After trying for 1.5 hours to get her back down (transition is the hard part), I get DH who tried for 30 minutes (I'm still awake, but just in bed) and gives up. So then I was up with her until 4. My alarm goes off at 5.... Cue breakdown moment. DH took her and she fell asleep in our bed. A no no in our house but I took what I could get. Fast forward, one of our dogs got out and I couldn't find her. DH had already gone to work, so I was in the process of loading the girls in the car to go look and she showed up thankfully. I had to run to a teachers house because the student council is stuffing swag bags for the event I am chairing on Friday. Needless to say I was nice and late to work. I already had a huge waffle and bought 2 Starbucks Frappucino drink things. It wouldn't be so bad but I think I have only gotten 3 hours for the past 3 nights..
I have a Kendra Scott event tonight benefiting the foundation I am involved in, then the golf tournament on Friday. DH leaves for Costa Rica tomorrow so I will have 6 nights solo. So if you need me I will be drowning myself in coffee and carbs LOL

Also, hi, all! I am at work. But I realized that I don't have a 4 day weekend- I have a 5 day weekend! Woo hoo! I work the following Saturday, so I have Monday off. So as of 1:30 today, I am free for a while. Yay.
I am going to get my hair cut/colored right after work, and then to the baseball game tonight. Should be fun!

Ds2 and I got our flu shots today. I was driving right by the pediatrician's office so I decided to just get it over with. We both took a nap after lol.

Hey everyone - it's been an emotional week (end of period hormones are the worst), and being stressed about tomorrow isn't helping. My mom just landed and H is on his way to get her at the airport, so that's good. Also N is 9 months today, and it was picture day at DC. Can't wait to see how they came out! Here's hoping things calm down after this week (I feel like I say that every week now... )

Sending you good vibes cakewench! Enjoy your super long weekend too thatgolfb! Does anyone know where I could pick up a pair of shorts at this time of year? It's going to be hot on our trip I think and I feel like I'll need an extra pair bring what I have.

Nooo, baby girl is getting sick š£ she has a runny nose, woke up crying at 830, had to nurse her back to sleep. I've been spoiled, she only had a cold at 4 months, back when it was okay for her to sleep with us or on my chest š£ she has 5 days to get better before we leave for our trip, which should be fine, right?

She's pretty healthy generally so I'm hoping for the same thing.
