As for pictures! DS’s first school dance! DD1 ready for her first dance class! And N’s (and DD1s and mine haha) first 5k! And some of my favourite time spent with my kids lately is walking DS home from school.

I almost forgot it was Wednesday! Baby will be 9 months next week. Here is her mugshot haha And DD1 wearing her jewelry and nose ring. A lady working at Whole Foods had a nose ring and after questioning her on what it was DD1 now likes to wear hers

This is officially the second time today that I've forgotten it was Wednesday. DD was so good when we went out for lunch on Sunday. We decided that ice cream was in order. Found out she digs chocolate ice cream. She's such a happy kid.

Had my PPA dr visit this morning and "officially" have been diagnosed and started a low dose zoloft. I also found out I have a double ear infection. That explains the pressure and muffled hearing lately.

jessijean I hope that you find the Zoloft helps quickly, and that your ear infection goes away.

My pumping is not super productive. I'm hooked up like an hour and half each day and am lucky if I get 10 oz. Luckily my day care provider is a pro and makes it work with whatever I send. I think if I drove in earlier and did my first pump at my desk instead of in the car, I would get more but....don't feel like it. As usual, love all the pics. Also add me to the "time is flying" club. I got a picture from day care today titled "walking is exhausting" and at first, I thought no effing way, she started walking!!! (she really is pretty close!) but it was after a walk out in the stroller, she was passed out in the stroller. If this doesn't make any sense, sorry! I'm freakin tired too, add me to that club. Add me to all the clubs!! I started using this l actation blend in my oatmeal this week though, we'll see if it helps!! Full disclosure: the company is owned by a friend of a friend. I got some free samples early and like it. Another friend baked it into cookies and bread, but I've just been adding it to stuff: oatmeal, cereal, smoothies, etc. I'm still dairy free so baked goods are tricky for me. Anyone else here still dairy free? Every time I reintroduce, the spit-ups start again and I like having no spit ups better so I'll stay off the dairy for now.

Sleep goes in waves but has improved! We are kind of on two naps and that’s really helping with my sanity.
I’m tired of nursing and how it’s controlling my life but I always get this way and I don’t know how to stop nursing without it being gradual so I’m just going to keep complaining about it but not doing anything to fix it.

If you are still nursing - how many times a day?
She eats 3 good solid meals a day + nurses 8 times. She’s not a newborn. I need to lose a couple of these feedings.

He eats solids at one meal and nurses/bottle between 6-7 times a day (he sleeps from 8-5 pretty much nightly). I’d love to drop one feeding but he’s so tiny I don’t push it (we just hit 15 lbs at 7 months).

If you are still nursing - how many times a day? . I feel like..lots haha. I feel more is out of comfort than necessary feedings now though. She eats a lot of solids throughout the day too, and when H is home he does the occasional formula overnight or on the weekends. This is the longest I’ve BFd any of my kids so I’m not sure where I’m going with it either, just kind of feed her when she’s grumpy or tired almost haha. Nothing too scheduled.

We’re nursing 6-7 times a day. Usually 6. 7 if she wakes up twice in the night.

He nurses 2x after daycare at least once in the morning and once overnight and gets 3 bottles at daycare so 7 or so.

DS nurses about 6 or 7x a day if he only does 1 or 2 wake ups. My supply is a little low since going back to work so we also supplement one of those feeds with a bottle. He eats purees and baby oatmeal 2x a day as well.

So at preschool pick up I see this mom and for 2 weeks I've been trying to figure out where I know her from. Today I figured it out, she's on Teen Mom 2 frequently with Chelsea. Our boys are in the same class so we chitchatted about them. Don't worry, I wasn't that weirdo who asked to confirm it's her, I'm sure that gets old/awkward.

I have been so unproductive outside of keeping my kids alive this week. I need to find some motivation to do something. Baby Girl has been super fussy the last two evenings and I’m really not sure why. I don’t think my supply has dropped but I’m worried that’s it.

Good morning ladies! G is already on the bus to school. I have made and eaten my breakfast. The baby had his first bottle. In about an hour I will give him breakfast. I have so much cleaning to do. A friend of mine is coming over this afternoon and I would like my cleaning done before then but I am sitting down enjoying my cup of coffee.
I did put dinner in the crockpot already so I at least accomplished something.

sunfrogger the thought of pumping 16 ounces blows my mind. I’ve never pumped more than 6 ounces in one sitting, and it’s usually only 3.5-4. Hope you’re feeling better soon!! For DD1 I had to pump between 18-21 ounces. She took 20 during the work day until she was maybe 7 months old? 8 months old? 😳

Speaking of pumping- any good ways to boost supply at 7 months?
I keep getting a clog in one side, and it is really messing with my supply. I am barely getting an ounce out of that side throughout the whole day. I am making sure I am pumping or feeding every 3 hours (except overnight- then it's typically at least twice overnight). I am not ready to give up breastfeeding yet but am struggling with getting enough!

I'm super impressed with myself this week. Usually on weeks that H is traveling, something breaks (i.e. I break something due to carelessness or inattention), or I forget something, or I'm a general hot mess because I have to do all of the things that he normally takes care of. This week, I've remembered every thing, prepped for my parents' visit, made major headway on a work project, and sleep trained the baby. I even did some laundry, which is unheard of for during the week at my house.

How's your hydration? Are you eating enough? Are you still losing a lot of weight? I find I have to be careful about getting enough calories and drinking enough. Are you doing compressions? Using the let-down button to get more let-downs?

And I really want pizza. My poor husband is feeling pizza deprived too. We can get it for him and DS but there aren't really any good options for me from a pizza place so it ends up being 2 stops for take out and blah blah blah

Also try not to stress about it pinkcat! It's so crazy, in a couple/few months this won't be a worry at all b/c the kiddos are going to be eating mostly regular food!
