Oh no, I'm sorry! I hope it gets better. I have Tucks pads but anything else I can do to help it? I'm going to take Tylenol because every time I cough it hurts. 😣 I haven't had this issue personally, so I'm not a whole lot of help unfortunately. Yes to the Tucks pads! I would even fold one or two and tuck it up in there and leave it for a little while. Preparation H is for hemorrhoids, but I don't know if it's safe to use during pregnancy. I wonder if sitz baths may help ease it too. And if you're having any constipation issues that are causing straining you could try colace or glycerin suppositories to help you go more easily. I feel like I've heard to put vaseline or similar on them when going. Hopefully someone else will chime in with some more info. But I'd start with the Tucks for now since you have them.

tbirdloveThanks! Yeah, I'm super regular so no constipation issues, which was weird to me. I guess it's all that weight and pressure?

pixiepink24I've had terrible hemmorhoids every pregnancy. What I recommend based on midwife and doctor reccs: Tucks A mix of preparatiin H OINTMENT and hydrocortisone ointment - avoud the creams Ice bags, or and Dont laugh, popsicles (they fit well between butt cheeks😂) Sitz baths in Luke warm water after every BM, even if constipation isn't the issue Tylenol for pain If they continue you can get a prescription for something like Proctofoam it seriously helped shorten flare ups Also, there are two kinds of hemorrhoids (internal and external). If yours are internal that have "popped" out, you can push them back in and get prep h suppositories to help with itch. This may be TMI but hope some of this helps! It's all safe for pregnant women.

pixiepink24 Earth Mama perineal Spray and Perineal Balm are great, too. The spray is witch hazel with herbs and is really soothing, the balm is cooling for hemorrhoids. Both are really good to have for postpartum as well.

Hey everyone! MH went back to work today so I'm hoping to be able to get back on here more now that it's just me, DS2, and the dog at home during the day. The dog is certainly enjoying the quiet!

DS woke up early this morning. Which I guess was a good thing because the delivery company arrived to drop off the basement materials while we were finishing breakfast. I had no idea what time they were coming. Then some guys from the installation company came about an hour later (they did call ahead) to actually haul everything down to the basement. I spent most of the rest of the morning half passed out on the couch while DS watched some shows. Managed to make us lunch, and now it's nap time. I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight cause I feel like I've practically been snoozing all day! Perhaps this would be a good night to go into labor since I'll be so well rested - Hint, hint baby 😉
But seriously, I feel like nothing is happening....

DD has watched more tv in the last three weeks than she has in her entire 2 years of life. Dd2 likes to make it really hard to get her to sleep so I've been playing "monkey George (curious George)" as DD calls it, way too much.

I got free tickets to the baseball game tonight. DD doesn't want to go but I mean, it's free!! Plus I want more fun mommy daughter time before brother comes. I'm sure I'll be hot and do tons of walking and be uncomfortable. 🤷♀️

brenna DS1 has had so much screen time this weekend and I'm sure it'll only continue for the next little while. I'm in the "do what you have to do to survive" camp! We had our first night at home last night and it went well. MH is off the next few weeks, so I don't feel bad asking him for help MOTN. Currently all 3 guys (daddy, toddler and baby) are napping, and I'm sure that once I try and fall asleep one of them will wake up.

Baby got hiccups during my non-stress test today 😊 Every hiccup bumped the monitor, and it was so fun to listen to.

killertofu, you just made me think and this baby has not had hiccups that I could feel so far. DD had them quite a few times. Every pregnancy and baby are different I guess. I bet it was cool to see on the monitor. :-)

Ugh. We went to the park this afternoon and while we were there I got stung by a wasp. I feel a little embarrassed by my reaction (not crazy dramatic, but I did cry). I'm blaming it on the hormones!

This little girl just balls up and has big big movements..... hopefully not foreshadowing any wild behavior

F-ing reflux can suck it 😡 Another night of shitty sleep because of it, and it's flaring up before I've even gotten out of bed in the morning.

My husband was up holding Lily from 3-6:30 this morning. She just doesn't want to sleep not being held at night most nights. I feel guilty that my husband is awake so much and then is trying to go to work. Hopefully she will start to sleep in some kind of baby holding device soon! DH and I just have to remind ourselves at least she isn't screaming at us all night and that this doesn't last forever.

It's funny, with DD everyone was wrong and thought boy (even random strangers would guess boy) but most people were right this time guessing L was a girl.

I need to start doing laundry for this baby. I also still haven't found a "going home" outfit. I did however, find a $20 large shag rug for sale from a local mom that will be nice to have in the bedroom. 🤷♀️

I'm sure not close enough for your liking because that shit sucks, but once there's no baby squishing everything you should feel better quickly!!

I know weighing myself then myself plus baby isn't that accurate, but if it's correct within about a half pound DS2 has passed birth weight already.
Extra bonus? I'm within 4 lbs of my pre-pregnancy weight. Granted I never lost the last 15 lbs from DS1 so I still technically have 20 lbs to go, but it was a really nice surprise.

I have an OB appt tomorrow morning. It's my due date. I've been considering allowing a membrane sweep if things look favorable. I said I wasn't going to do that this time, but I'm loosing my willpower 😕
I'm also trying to keep in mind that my original EDD was the 25th (I knew this whole thing would play games with me). But even then I'd still be 39+1 tomorrow. That's not too early....
I hate the end! I feel so crazy!
