Thoughts on the Botham Jean case?

I am interested to hear all of your theories. I can't stop seeking out information on this case. It's all so messed up. I feel so horrible for his family. 

One of my former students went to church with him and she is heartbroken.

The story about finding weed in his apartment is such bullshit. Like a, it was on a list of stuff found in his apartment, but there's no listing of what belonged to who, so it could have been hers for all we know. B, WTF DOES IT EVEN MATTER?! IT'S HIS OWN GODDAMN APARTMENT.

The story today about the conflicting warrants and affadavits just make it even more of a mess. None of what was in his apartment matters. It was his own apartment. I've read that she said the door was propped open, but from the videos I've seen, they are much like hotel doors and don't stay open. Even then, she fired into a dark apartment that was on an entirely different floor from the one she lived on.

A racist female cop entered an innocent black man's apartment and shot him. She is out on bail, his family is burying him, and the news is talking about weed in his apartment.

There aren't enough swears in the entire history of language to accurately express my feelings on this situation.

She shot him on purpose for sure. I do not think her intent was actually to kill him, I think she went up to his apartment to complain about another noise complaint and she either felt threatened by him and pulled the gun or she pulled it to establish dominance. I 100% think he got shot because he was a black man.

Weed doesn’t even deserve jail time, let alone a death sentence.

My problem is the weed isn't even relative to the fucking case. She shot him because she saw a black man as a threat. period.

I have watched all the videos, read interviews with neighbors, and looked at the photos they shared. There is no way she thought that was her apartment. One of the articles I read said she had complained about his worship music being too loud less than 24 hours before she killed him.

It all does not add up. Neighbors have shown that their key cards light up red in the wrong door. He had a fire door that locked automatically so in order to get in she would have had to have knocked and completely have missed the numbers outside in neon, the red mat and that her key did not work.

I don't buy it at all that she "accidentally" walked into someone else's apartment and thought it was hers. Like what bullshit are you trying to sell here?

She murdered him and should be up on murder charges. But nothing will stick because she's a white female cop and he's a black man and an immigrant.

I saw that she said she accidentally parked one floor up and that's why she thought it was her apartment. Was that verified? I feel like if she went up to complain, she would't have driven but maybe that's the only way you can move floor to floor.

I just don’t buy the It was an accident/I thought it was my home thing. I would say she was going to confront him while in uniform as a power play and then shot him. One of my neighbors was a city police officer and he came to my house to complain about my dog (she had gotten loose) and he made sure he pointed out he was a cop (because the uniform wasn’t a dead giveaway??) when he was talking to me. I pointed out he was out of his jurisdiction. He was an ass on a power trip. I’d bet this chick was too.
