On the same line of glasses, I hardly wear sunglasses. I like when everything is bright and I can see everything in vivid colors.
I still wear sunglasses if the sun is glaring at me shen I drive. But once I’m good I take them off. My mom is one of those people who needs to wear them all the time. She’s got light sensitivity or something.

You know when your seat belt is rubbing against you and you keep fighting with it? That’s how I feel about glasses. They annoy the ever living fuck out of me.

I'm listening to Rob Lowe's book Stories I Only Tell My Friends and I just realized Rob Lowe and Chad Lowe are brothers. I just thought they were two actors who just happened to have the same last name.

Nope. 2000+ miles is a bit too far for books for me. My recipe! 1) make friends with boozy ladies 2) suggest you start a book club Each month a couple people get put on snack duty, a couple people get put on wine duty. It's been a great way to get exposed to wines outside my wine profile. I know what I like, it's expensive and old country(ish). Because of book club I have learned all the ways of NZ sauvignon blanc (that isn't Kim Crawford) and it's been wonderful. It''s been a NZ tasting spree!! NZ sauv blanc is the best. Costco actually has a good Kirkland brand one that is inexpensive.

Barring a medical issue I guess I don't get the glasses preference. Like the never wants to wear anything but glasses. Contacts are so much better on so many levels. YES. I started wearing contacts at 15 for sports and have never looked back. I only wear glasses late at night after contacts are out.

Can’t handle the idea of putting something in my eye. I was like this until I was at the optometrist and they made me sit there till I did it, to make sure I knew how to do it. Once I figured it out, I was over it. H still can't watch me put them in, though. 😂

I don’t think I struggled with putting them on or off at all.

I just like how clear my contacts are.
I can see my whole field of vision through them.
Glasses are fine but you are still looking through glass ultimately.
I was also fearful of getting face dents a lot of glasses wearers get.

I mean I can look in the mirror and see if my contact is in there or not. I can look in my contact case and see if they are in there or not. If it should slip my mind that I took them out. Just little things here and there as clues. I have daily contacts, so no case and they are much thinner and not as noticeable in your eye. If I do the slide down motion below my pupil and there is no contact...nothing moves.

Laaaaaame, Canada! Some other ones I have tried and loved are Nobilo and Outer Sounds. I also recently tried a California fume blanc from Dry Creek vineyard, because we are going wine tasting there soon and it looked interesting. It was really yummy. I love wine.

I also don't think my contacts are noticeable but if I turn my head slightly to the side, catch the light and look in the mirror, I can see that something is around my pupil.

One that same wavelength I have been asking my H to get contacts since forever. He looks so good without them. He’s got pretty eyes and he hides them behind ginormous glasses.

I had a rolling multiple orgasm last night that ended in huge wracking sobs. Confession: once I had pulled myself together, my first thought was how proud McBenny would be.

I confess I thought you got an actual model tank with their faces on it. I was quite confused.

I would certainly evacuate my family in a hurricane but my confession would be that I would love to be a reporter getting whipped with wind and rain near the ocean. I'm a thrill seeker though and I would be in awe being that close. I'm also confident that they have safety precautions in place. As someone who has had a near death experience in the ocean...no. Also, not sure how much safety precautions there can really be. The ocean is unpredictable as f*ck. I still love regular beaches though.

When I work from home I usually end up wearing my glasses all morning just to give my eyes a break. But I definitely see better with contacts and always drive with them on.

I have no words for my horror over the accidental grabbing of the eyeball. Can't. I'm going to choose to no longer go back and catch up so I don't have to read whatever post this is referring to.
