Hi. MOVING SUCKS. DH & I moved everything ourselves. I'm so sore. I have like 26 bruises and scrapes. And there are soooo many boxes to unpack. Plus no internet until Wednesday.

taketheshot I remember seeing the back of your dress now that I see it. I didn't see the front tho. You look beautiful and the matching dresses with DD is adorable

Father's day was a great day start to finish and the kids were on their best behavior all day. We ended up picking blackberries instead of blueberries and the kids had a blast. Everyone slept in including me in the morning, we ate lunch out and made a delicious dinner.
Straight out of the mouths of babes, during dinner DD1 comments, "this is way more pleasant than mother's day was". Why yes, smart girl, that's for damn sure. DH looked a bit sheepish at that and I'm hoping he now realizes the extent to which he dropped the ball last month. Hopefully things will be better next year. The funny thing is, I didn't say a word to DD about mother's day. Even a 4 year old can notice the difference.

Hope everyone had a good weekend! Ours was busy but fun. We had lots of family time, and the weather was great. Our deck is all finished, I love it! So B has stopped eating fruit. He already doesn't eat any vegetables. I am beyond frustrated. So far bananas are okay, but I tried strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and oranges and he spits them all out immediately and says "no". Awesome. And I just bought a ton! I guess I'll be making smoothies tonight... Hopefully it's just a phase. DD went through it and she's now just over 3 and eating almost alll the things again. She survived on air, cereal, and bread for a while tho. ETA: does he also refuse smoothies? God I hope he takes smoothies. This all suddenly happened Thursday/Friday, so I haven't tried smoothies yet. That will be tonight's experiment. He still loves popsicles so that will be Plan 'C'.

RunsforWineandCarbs Our back yard is suddenly teeming with spiders too. I'm equal parts disgusted and freaked out by it. I did consider burning my back lawn to the ground but alas, my kids like to play back there. Research tells me spiders are hard to treat with sprays so now I don't know what to do. Let me know if you figure it out.

In the time it took me to go down one flight of stairs, it went from cloudy to downpour. Currently waiting a few minutes under a hotel awning so my skirt isn't completely soaked on the train.

Guys, it was a wasted effort. As soon as I tried to run for the train, it was raining sideways.

amberlie- moving sucks. When H and I moved in together (almost 7 years ago) we moved everything ourselves. I also packed my 2 bedroom town home by myself (mostly just threw stuff in boxes). I still have boxes in the garage I haven't looked at. H and I swore we will hire movers next time. I really hope we stick to that when we move next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

amberlie, moving definitely sucks. But definitely take it as an opportunity to throw a bunch o stuff out that you don't want/ need. Purging is easier than moving.

Okay, I made a smoothie with fresh banana, avocado, strawberry, orange, and a bit of water and he gulped it down and asked for more. I'm still annoyed, but yay for vitamins.

Gross to the bugs. We had an issue with ants when it got warm this year and I was so close to burning the house down....i tried all the natural remedies I could find, and then just got the poison spray..couldn't handle it anymore.

taketheshot sorry the wedding was lame...that seriously is the worst...I love to plan all the details, so having something poorly planned would definitely be annoying. I hope the bride and groom enjoyed their day at least.
