And also I’m ready to kill my H. When we were texting earlier about the whole doctor mix up, I asked him to check to see if they had record of a 9th month appointment. I was pretty steaming I had wasted sick time but it was a pretty simple question. He told me to “calm down because I was being too forceful.” Excuse me?? Say what? I'd be super pissed about this too. I may have responded with something along the lines of shut up with that bullshit. Not my finest moment.

Hi guys. I exist. Going back to work after the summer off is so draining and all consuming. Goodness.
My big started 3s preschool and she loves it so much it's just amazing. The little one took her first steps today. Still no teeth though. One thing at a time I guess.

Oh, and he's officially figured out army crawling and can get around our living room. So there goes my lump baby dream. B can only go backwards so we have a little time, but our pediatrician told us we have to work with him because he should be going forward by now. ☹️

Because N literally never crawled until he was 13 months old. I put him down and he’d stay there. My pediatrician wasn’t concerned about that. Honestly, I wouldn’t worry too much yet.

DS just started crawling forward in any consistent way. Mostly he’s just into standing. I wouldn’t use crawling forward as the only measure of progress unless there are other concerns rooskie

Like he wasn't even going backwards at 9 months, he wasn't going anywhere lol. Now at 11 months, he is super speedy. I'm surprised your pediatrician even mentioned crawling. Mine doesn't look at it as a milestone anymore 🤷 so I'd try not to be too concerned.

Dang rooskie, I hate it when doctors pooh pooh something, but don't really offer any support. Oh sure, my kid isn't crawling because I'm not helping. Have you ever tried to make a baby crawl?!?! Anyway, DD started moving forwards at 9.5 months after at least a month of going backwards. She doesn't crawl on all fours yet, she worms. I think she'll get there eventually though! also grumpycat, 11 months, ahhhhh!!!

I was always told crawling was a 9 month skill but that it wasn't a concern until after 12 months.

Also it’s not like he isn’t trying. He keeps waking up for an hour at night to practice and daycare says he really wants to. He just needs to work on not spreading his hips when he gets on his belly.
