Hi friends! We just had a much overdue funeral for my dog. I served cupcakes and resisted temptation and only had a bite of my kid’s. So, dog funeral NSV!
Anyway, my kid finally starts school tomorrow! Byeeeeeeee!

None of my embryos made it, and it’s CD 1. Not sure I have what it takes for another IVF cycle. I’m a complete mess. ❤️ |

I’m having trouble dealing with the 5 year old’s emotions lately. The three year old is a freaking breeze in comparison. Oh, man. I’m here, too. The 2.5yo is an insane toddler, but I’ll take that all day everyday over the overly emotional almost 5yo. The other night, I told MH that I don’t know how to parent her. I said the same thing tonight. Like, how does everything make him cry? I know he’s still adjusting to kindergarten but OMG |

My 4.5yo is starting full day Kindergarten tomorrow. So I’m a little hyperventilatey.
She’s very excited and thinks I’m ridiculous.
MH just went to get like a dozen balloons to tie on her door tonight so I think he’s being a little more ridiculous but whatever.

Ds1 picked a Halloween book for bedtime and now ds2 is insisting on sleeping with the light on.

bobyn on the 4th day of school DS left his lunch box in his classroom and his water bottle on the bus. Now we are on vacation for a week. I... do not have high hopes about getting anything back

We had sushi dinner and now we are watching Beastmaster in bed in the hotel. We did the Maid of the Mist today and it totally blew DS's mind

I'm the offical room mom for dd1's class and just got back from our first meeting. I've never been in charge before and I may have made a huge tiny mistake.

My kid’s teacher sent an update on what they’re learning so far in K. I’m surprised my kid isn’t getting into trouble, he’s got to be bored out of his mind.
Hopefully he can use this time to catch up emotionally and socially.

I had a birthday party for a Baby Alive doll this week complete with candles, balloons and cards made by my daughter's classmates. I am pretty sure at this point I would throw a dog birthday if a kid asked. |

I know a woman who makes a killing making dog wedding clothes on Etsy. She is the most practical down to Earth person ever, so it amuses me to no end.

Emails, party planning, crafts, parent-teacher liason, etc. And apparently her teacher is sort of a lot according to the lady who helped her last year. And I have a suspicion that the class has weak parental involment so I possibly won't have much physical or financial help. |

Different writing tools Things that can be yellow, blue, red Labeling pictures with a letter they hear Making names with play dough Etc. He’s learned the most in PE so far 😂 We’ve been doing lunges and push ups together and he tells me the names of muscles I’ve never heard of. |

What do you have to do? I was a room parent last year but it really just involved sending emails. Thank you for doing all the stuff I don’t want to do, but want to happen. Lol. |

Jk we’ll actually be out of town... but we are sending him to daycare that day and they do a celebration for every birthday. 🤷🏼♀️ I give my dog a bone or new toy on his birthday. I do not invite other guests. I have no idea if this is crazy but I never celebrated my cat’s for some reason. |
